That\u2019s why I voted against it last year. <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/IEjbbIyItr\">pic.twitter.com\/IEjbbIyItr<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Kalman Yeger (@KalmanYeger) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/KalmanYeger\/status\/1541449875119898626?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">June 27, 2022<\/a> <\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>The lawsuit <a href=\"https:\/\/prod-static.gop.com\/media\/documents\/85007_2022_VITO_J_FOSSELLA_et_al_v_ERIC_ADAMS_et_al_SUMMONS___COMPLAINT_1_1641837327.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">alleged<\/a> that around one million <a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2022\/06\/15\/border-migrants-immigration-mexico\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">noncitizen<\/a> adults live in New York City, adding that the number of noncitizens eligible to vote in local races could comprise 15% or more of the vote. It <a href=\"https:\/\/gop.com\/press-release\/rnc-led-coalition-wins-striking-down-nycs-non-citizen-voting\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">claimed<\/a> that the law violated the state constitution that requires voters to be U.S. citizens.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cToday\u2019s ruling is a huge victory for election integrity and the rule of law: American elections should be decided by American citizens.
