And the only meaningful justification the government offered for its reprisal rested on a mistaken view that it had a duty to ferret out and suppress,\u201d Justice Neil Gorsuch <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/politics\/high-school-football-coach-scores-big-win-supreme-court-post-game-prayer\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">wrote<\/a> in the Court\u2019s opinion.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cReligious observances even as it allows comparable secular speech. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) spoke more broadly in response to both Kennedy\u2019s victory and Friday\u2019s ruling that overturned <em>Roe v. Wade.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe Court rightfully held that a football coach praying alone in view of his players is not a violation of the Constitution, but rather protected religious and free speech activity under the First Amendment.
