Wade.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">The Greenville Police Department said more than 400 people had gathered during the afternoon event in One City Plaza, where pro-life and pro-abortion demonstrators stood on opposite sides of the street.<\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">\u201c\u2018On several occasions, officers had to address people in the roadway and parties from one side trying to go over to another,\u2019\u201d the department\u00a0<a class=\"editor-rtfLink\" href=\"https:\/\/thehill.com\/homenews\/state-watch\/3537377-six-protesters-arrested-in-south-carolina-after-abortion-ruling\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">said<\/a><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">.<\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">The six individuals were arrested with charges that included interfering with police, disorderly conduct, and resisting arrest, according to the report.<\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Fox Carolina\u00a0<a class=\"editor-rtfLink\" href=\"https:\/\/www.foxcarolina.com\/2022\/06\/25\/greenville-pd-6-arrested-during-abortion-protest-one-city-plaza\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">added<\/a><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">\u00a0that the charges also included pedestrians blocking a roadway.<\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">\u201c\u2018The picket was deemed an unlawful assembly, and officers dispersed both sides,\u2019\u201d the department added.<\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">The event was deemed as violating the city\u2019s\u00a0<a class=\"editor-rtfLink\" href=\"https:\/\/fire.greenvillesc.gov\/DocumentCenter\/View\/10262\/City-Code---Amend-Section-36-142-Picketing?bidId=\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">picketing ordinance<\/a><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">\u00a0to stay \u201con the sidewalks, on the grounds of a city-controlled park or plaza, or in other city-owned areas or rights-of-way normally used or reserved for pedestrian movement, and may not be conducted on the portion of a street used primarily for vehicular traffic.\u201d<\/p>\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Update from <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/GvlPD?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">@GvlPD<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/CrnRNO7Qin\">pic.twitter.com\/CrnRNO7Qin<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Jalen Elrod (@JalenElrod) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/JalenElrod\/status\/1540844581964726273?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">June 25, 2022<\/a><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">\u201cWe have received a few videos from people involved and onlookers,\u201d the police department said,\u00a0<a class=\"editor-rtfLink\" href=\"https:\/\/wlos.com\/news\/local\/greenville-roe-v-wade-rally-picket-arrests-arrested-south-carolina-abortion-reproductive-rights-protesters-police-department-supreme-court-charges-charged\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">according to<\/a><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">\u00a0ABC-13 News. Law enforcement said authorities did not use pepper spray or discharge tasers.<\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">The incident is one of several protests and acts of civil disobedience following the 6-3 decision in<em><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">\u00a0Dobbs v.s. JacksonWomen\u2019s<\/em><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">\u00a0Health Organization on Friday.<\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">The ruling followed the early May leak of a draft opinion that led to multiple demonstrations at the homes of Supreme Court justices and acts of vandalism at pro-life centers and houses of worship.<\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">In Los Angeles, protesters\u00a0<a class=\"editor-rtfLink\" href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/far-left-rages-across-country-after-supreme-court-overturns-unconstitutional-roe-v-wade-ruling\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">blocked<\/a><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">\u00a0the 110 freeway, shutting down traffic on Friday and clashing with law enforcement officials.<\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">\u201c\u2018The crowds have dispersed and the flow of traffic has been restored,\u2019\u201d the Los Angeles Police Department said in a statement. \u201c\u2018The tactical alert has been cancelled and we have resumed standard operations. The movement released a recent manifesto calling for \u201caction\u201d against the pro-life movement.<\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Prior to the court\u2019s ruling, Jane\u2019s Revenge\u00a0<a class=\"editor-rtfLink\" href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/michigan-congressman-and-pro-life-organization-accuse-abortion-activist-group-of-vandalizing-offices\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">claimed responsibility<\/a><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">\u00a0on Tuesday for a vandalism incident that included breaking the front door and shattering the windows of an office building shared by a pro-life organization and a Michigan Republican\u2019s campaign office.<\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Rep.
