It\u2019s hypocrisy.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIrrelevant has-beens trying to get some clicks by attacking me on @twitter \u2026.so predictable and lazy,\u201d she added in a separate tweet. \u201cEverybody knows you\u2019re twisting my words. I\u2019m not going to give you the importance of mentioning you by name. You know who you are. Bless your hearts. Eat s***. Or whatever\u2026\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Navarro\u2019s tweets come after she made remarks that went viral Friday afternoon on CNN, where she talked about members of her family who had special needs.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAnd I am not anybody to tell you what you need to do with your life or with your uterus,\u201d Navarro said. \u201cAnd because I have a family with a lot of special needs kids. I have a brother who\u2019s 57 and has the mental and motor skills of a one-year-old.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAnd I know what that means financially, emotionally, physically, for a family,\u201d she continued. \u201cAnd I know not all families can do it. And I have a step-granddaughter who was born with Down syndrome. And you know what? It is very difficult in Florida to get services. It is not as easy as it sounds on paper.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAnd I\u2019ve got another step-grandson who is very autistic,\u201d Navarro added. \u201cWho has autism, and it is [inaudible]. And their mothers and people who are in that society, who are in that community, will tell you that they\u2019ve considered suicide because that\u2019s how difficult it is to get help. Because that\u2019s how lonely they feel, because they can\u2019t get other jobs, because they have financial issues, because the care that they\u2019re able to give their other children suffers.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAnd so why can I be Catholic and still think this is a wrong decision? Because I\u2019m American. I\u2019m Catholic inside the church,\u201d Navarro claimed. \u201cI\u2019m Catholic when it comes to me. But there\u2019s a lot of Americans who are not Catholic, and are not Christian, and are not Baptist. And you have no damn right to tell them what they should do with their bodies.
