As The Federalist previously <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2021\/10\/12\/the-2020-election-wasnt-stolen-it-was-bought-by-mark-zuckerberg\/\">reported<\/a>, CEIR\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/electioninnovation.org\/download\/16514\/\">grants to states<\/a> for \u201cnonpartisan voter education\u201d ahead of the 2020 election may have given Democrats an advantage in key states.<\/p>\n<p>Through the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative, Priscilla Chan and Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg donated <a href=\"https:\/\/electioninnovation.org\/press\/chan-zuckerberg-increase-2020-election-support\/\">$69.5 million<\/a> to CEIR as well as <a href=\"https:\/\/www.techandciviclife.org\/100m\/\">$350 million<\/a> to the Center for Tech and Civic Life.<\/p>\n<p>Mollie Hemingway, Editor in Chief of The Federalist, writes in her book \u201cRigged: How the Media, Big Tech, and the Democrats Seized Our Elections\u201d that CEIR and CTCL did not merely attempt to influence the election from the outside but to infiltrate them from within.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhat made 2020 different was that for the first time ever, the groups that supported Democrats were allowed, on a widespread basis, to cross that bright red line that separates government officials who administer an election from political operatives,\u201d Hemingway writes. \u201cUnelected liberal activists were allowed to embed in government offices and actually take over election administration duties in crucial battleground states.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>While CEIR claims to be nonpartisan, The Star News Network <a href=\"https:\/\/thestarnewsnetwork.com\/2021\/08\/05\/zuckerberg-funded-nonprofit-paid-11-8-million-to-democrat-political-consulting-firms-for-nonpartisan-voter-education-in-michigan-2020-election\/\">reported<\/a> that in 2020 the group gave a $12 million grant to the Michigan Center for Election Law and Administration, which used $11.8 million of this grant to pay two Democratic political consulting firms.<\/p>\n<p>Earlier this year, the State of Wisconsin Office of the Special Counsel published an <a href=\"https:\/\/legis.wisconsin.gov\/assembly\/22\/brandtjen\/media\/1552\/osc-second-interim-report.pdf\">investigative report<\/a> stating that for Wisconsin election officials accepting EOLDN\u2019s services might be a violation of state law. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cSince EOLDN\u2019s free legal services will have foremost in mind protecting the interests of CTCL, CEIR, Zuckerberg, and Chan, it will influence the election officials\u2019 official actions and judgment,\u201d the report said, continuing: \u201cCTCL, Zuckerberg, and Chan financed the illegal drop boxes and election bribery, so EOLDN\u2019s free legal services to the election officials could be reasonably seen as a \u2018reward\u2019 for their participation in unlawful actions related to the election.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Neither Ginsburg, Rep. Bennie Thompson, who introduced him, nor Rep. Zoe Lofgren, who questioned him, mentioned his work under CEIR as the co-chair of EOLDN. None of them brought up CEIR or CTCL at all.
