Wade is due to the former president.<\/p>\n<p>The Supreme Court issued a 6-3 ruling Friday morning to overturn the landmark decision that deemed abortion is <a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2019\/06\/09\/abortion-michigan-hotel\/\">protected<\/a> under the U.S. Constitution. Although Biden decried the decision as a \u201ctragic error\u201d and Trump <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/ShelbyTalcott\/status\/1540400346006278144\">lauded<\/a> the decision as \u201cthe biggest WIN for LIFE in a generation,\u201d the two appeared to concur that Friday\u2019s announcement came, at least in part, at the hands of Trump.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2022\/06\/24\/trump-speaks-out-on-scotus-decision-to-overturn-roe-v-wade\/\">Trump<\/a>, for one, took complete credit for the Supreme Court decision, pointing out in a statement issued hours afterwards that it was \u201conly made possible because I delivered everything as promised.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cToday decision, which is the biggest WIN for LIFE in a generation, along with other decisions that have been announced recently, were only made possible because I delivered everything as promised, including nominating and getting three highly respected and strong Constitutionalists confirmed to the United States Supreme Court,\u201d Trump wrote. \u201cIt was my great honor to do so!\u201d<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">Biden also appeared to point to Trump as reason for today\u2019s ruling (albeit with different framing), saying during his remarks earlier that the three justices the former president appointed \u201cupended the scales of justice.\u201d <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/PzMEFjPY3y\">https:\/\/t.co\/PzMEFjPY3y<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Shelby Talcott (@ShelbyTalcott) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/ShelbyTalcott\/status\/1540401041551785985?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">June 24, 2022<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Trump, throughout his time in office, appointed Supreme Court Justices Neil Gorsuch, Brett Kavanaugh and Amy Coney Barrett to the court.<\/p>\n<p>Biden, meanwhile, blasted the Supreme Court\u2019s ruling during remarks to the nation Friday. The president called on Congress to act in restoring federal abortion protections and urged voters to use the decision in casting their votes for the upcoming midterm elections.<\/p>\n<p><strong>WATCH:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>At one point during his speech, Biden <a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2022\/06\/24\/joe-biden-supreme-court-roe-v-wade-voters-midterms\/\">referenced<\/a> Trump\u2019s Supreme Court picks and also <a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2022\/05\/04\/preside-joe-biden-abortion-roe-v-wade\/\">noted<\/a> that this was the key reason why Roe v. Wade was overturned \u2013 though Biden framed the decision as a blow to Americans everywhere.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt was the three justices named by one president \u2013 Donald Trump \u2013 who were at the core of today\u2019s decision to upend the scales of justice and eliminate a fundamental right for women in this country,\u201d Biden said. \u201cMake no mistake.
