A YouTuber created the clip using visual effects software.<\/p>\n<p><strong><span>Fact Check:<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Russian military claimed in March that it had fired a hypersonic Kinzhal missile and destroyed a large underground military arsenal in Ukraine, BBC News <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bbc.com\/news\/world-europe-60806151\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">reported<\/a>. The missiles, which can be equipped with nuclear warheads, have been viewed as \u201cnot a game-changer,\u201d according to the outlet.<\/p>\n<p>The Facebook video, viewed over 2,000 times, appears to show a projectile landing in the distance, causing a massive explosion as the cameraperson can be heard reacting. A reverse image search found the video first appeared on\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=DZ67hVlxM-8&#038;t=2s\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">YouTube<\/a>\u00a0February 27 from user InsanePatient2 titled \u201c<span class=\"gmail-style-scope gmail-yt-formatted-string\" dir=\"auto\">What if Russia Started Nuclear War?\u00a0<\/span>#shorts.\u201d<\/p>\n[embedded content]\n<p>Another video from the user, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=SYFblMII0yI\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">titled<\/a> \u201cMoon hit by Asteroid CAUGHT ON CAMERA\u201d features the same landscape seen in the Facebook video.
