Wade<\/em>, \u201ccharities that support pregnant mothers in need have been firebombed and pro-life organizations have been attacked almost daily and terrorized.\u201d They\u00a0specifically mention the pro-abortion group Jane\u2019s Revenge, which has <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wsj.com\/articles\/a-night-of-rage-on-abortion-janes-revenge-fbi-merrick-garland-roe-v-wade-dobbs-v-jackson-11655664242\">claimed responsibility<\/a> for many of these attacks.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"AG Letter to Garland\" class=\"scribd_iframe_embed\" src=\"https:\/\/www.scribd.com\/embeds\/579198012\/content\" data-aspect-ratio=\"0.7729220222793488\" scrolling=\"no\" id=\"579198012\" width=\"500\" height=\"750\" frameborder=\"0\"><\/iframe> (function() { var scribd = document.createElement(&#8220;script&#8221;); scribd.type = &#8220;text\/javascript&#8221;; scribd.async = true; scribd.src = &#8220;https:\/\/www.scribd.com\/javascripts\/embed_code\/inject.js&#8221;; var s = document.getElementsByTagName(&#8220;script&#8221;)[0]; s.parentNode.insertBefore(scribd, s); })() <\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe Department of Justice must investigate and prosecute these terroristic threats and acts,\u201d the letter said. \u201cIt should start with Jane\u2019s Revenge \u2014 the FBI has more than enough resources to determine the organization\u2019s members and to track down those carrying out these acts of violence, which qualify as terrorism under federal law. And while Jane\u2019s Revenge offers an obvious starting point, the supply of entities deserving to be investigated hardly stops there.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>In a Tuesday <a href=\"https:\/\/www.oag.state.va.us\/media-center\/news-releases\/2398-june-21-2022-attorney-general-miyares-urges-us-attorney-general-garland-to-stop-attacks-on-pro-life-charities\">statement<\/a> accompanying the letter, Virginia Attorney General Jason Miyares condemned the federal government\u2019s \u201clack of action\u201d on this \u201cpattern of terrorism\u201d as \u201cunacceptable.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cRadical progressive organizations like Jane\u2019s Revenge have been actively encouraging their supporters to harass and harm Pregnancy Centers and the people who work there,\u201d he said. \u201cIt is the U.S. Attorney General\u2019s legal duty to investigate these criminal attacks on pro-life charities.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The attorneys general also offered state assistance to the DOJ for both investigations and prosecutions of those involved in these crimes.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cInaction is intolerable in our nation of laws, and it violates your oath of office,\u201d the letter said. \u201cYet, in recent weeks, you have continued to allow illegal actions seemingly because they advance (in the minds of some) the pro-abortion cause. In particular, you have done nothing to break up picketing outside the homes of Supreme Court justices rumored to have voted to overrule <em>Roe v. Wade<\/em> \u2014 this despite the fact that a federal law plainly prohibits such conduct.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAnd over the past year, the federal government has repeatedly sought leniency for violent criminals motivated by what this Administration perceives as progress,\u201d the letter added. \u201cAll the while, it has taken bizarrely aggressive positions toward its ideological opponents\u2014for example, parents who speak out at school-board meetings. Intentional or not, budding domestic terrorists have apparently received the message: the Department of Justice is going easy on those who use violence in furtherance of favored viewpoints.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The letter comes the same day that Republicans in the House <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/republicans-demand-garland-designate-members-of-janes-revenge-as-domestic-terrorists\">called<\/a> on the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the Department of Homeland Security to designate members of the pro-abortion organization, Jane\u2019s Revenge, as domestic terrorists.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe write with grave concern regarding the group \u2018Jane\u2019s Revenge\u2019 and its documented attacks on pregnancy centers across the country over the past two months,\u201d the lawmakers said in a\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.scribd.com\/document\/579204259\/Letter-Re-Jane-s-Revenge\">letter first obtained by The Daily Wire<\/a>. \u201cThis group is a threat to expectant mothers across America, many of whom are in desperate need of assistance.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are calling on the Department of Homeland Security and the Federal Bureau of Investigation to officially classify those committing crimes through Jane\u2019s Revenge as domestic terrorists in response to their clear involvement in acts dangerous to human life,\u201d the letter continued. \u201cThese violent acts violate U.S. and State law, and the group itself has claimed intent to intimidate civilians and government officials. You must use the full extent of your powers under the law to fully prosecute these criminals and prevent further crime.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>And on Thursday, CatholicVote led pro-life leaders in sending a <a href=\"https:\/\/catholicvote.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/06\/06.2022-AG-letter-on-attacks-related-to-Dobbs-1.pdf\">joint letter<\/a> Garland demanding the DOJ take action against the attacks on pro-life organizations and centers. Signatories <a href=\"https:\/\/catholicvote.org\/catholicvote-other-pro-life-leaders-call-on-doj-to-address-pro-abortion-violence\/\">included<\/a>\u00a0CatholicVote President Brian Burch, Susan B.
