On the &#8220;<a href=\"https:\/\/store.charliecrist.com\/en-espa-ol\/\">En Espa\u00f1ol<\/a>&#8221; page, however, no such merchandise is present. Crist offers two stickers in English, one with a transgender flag and another with a gay pride flag, featuring his campaign logo. The congressman also sells a button alluding to the &#8220;Don\u2019t Say Gay&#8221; bill, a misnomer <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nationalreview.com\/2022\/03\/the-deep-dishonesty-of-dont-say-gay\/\">originating<\/a> from false claims made by progressive activists regarding a parental rights bill passed by Florida.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Crist\u2019s Spanish webpage contains a handful of generic campaign items with messages translated into Spanish.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Support for Democrats among Florida Latinos has <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.politico.com\/news\/2022\/04\/04\/florida-democrats-latino-voters-00022601\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">plummeted<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> in recent election cycles. Analysts have <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.axios.com\/2022\/03\/13\/democrats-hispanic-voters-peril\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">pointed<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> to the Democratic Party\u2019s leftward swing on social issues as a factor in the party\u2019s hemorrhaging of Hispanic supporters.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Political consultant Mike Madrid <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.axios.com\/2022\/03\/13\/democrats-hispanic-voters-peril\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">told<\/span><\/a><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Axios <\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">that &#8220;as Democrats start to focus more on white, cultural, progressive cultural issues, they&#8217;re losing the fastest segment of the non-college-educated population, and that&#8217;s Latinos.&#8221;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Critics of Crist, who served as governor of Florida from 2007 t0 2011, have accused him of <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.orlandosentinel.com\/politics\/os-ne-charlie-crist-governor-announcement-20210504-qpwn5ft67rc7njd4phgardrw2m-story.html\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">flip-flopping<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> in politics. Formerly seen as a rising star in the Republican Party, Crist became an independent in 2010 and swapped his affiliation to Democratic in 2012.
