John Kennedy (R-LA) on Monday accused <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/topic\/leftist\">the Left<\/a> of intimidating conservative <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/topic\/supreme-court\">Supreme Court<\/a> justices, arguing that the disrespect will continue if the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/topic\/joe-biden\">Biden administration<\/a> allows it.<\/p>\n<p>Kennedy shared the remarks during an interview on Fox News\u2019 \u201cAmerica\u2019s Newsroom.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis is more than just about abortion. It\u2019s about respect for American institutions. I think most people can say that all of this is being driven by the anti-intellectual, crypto-socialist woke left that the Biden administration has embraced and frankly, that is in charge of in Washington, D.C. When the draft opinion was leaked, the wokers\u2019 response was immediate,\u201d Kennedy <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/media\/sen-kennedy-rips-woke-left-intimidating-supreme-court-justices-allow-continue\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">said<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The Louisiana senator also argued that most leaders in the Biden administration have refused to push back on the intimidation tactics.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThey said, \u2018We don\u2019t agree with it, so let\u2019s burn the place down, let\u2019s intimidate the justices, let\u2019s intimidate their spouses, let\u2019s intimidate their kids, let\u2019s publish their telephone numbers and addresses on the Internet and, while we\u2019re at it, let\u2019s pack the court and\u00a0abolish the filibuster.\u2019 What you allow is what will continue, and the Biden administration has embraced that. The bill passed unanimously in the Senate.<\/p>\n<p>Concerns have run high after an arrest was made earlier this month of a man on an <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/alleged-would-be-kavanaugh-assassin-indicted-for-attempted-murder-of-a-justice\">attempted murder charge<\/a> near the home of Justice Brett Kavanaugh. The arrest also followed <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/leftist-activists-demonstrate-outside-justice-alitos-virginia-home\">multiple protests<\/a> at the homes of conservative justices since a leaked Supreme Court draft opinion from Justice Samuel Alito.<\/p>\n<p>The leak <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/5-key-takeaways-from-the-leaked-majority-opinion-draft-overruling-roe-v-wade\">revealed<\/a> that the court might overturn <em>Roe v. Wade\u00a0<\/em>in a pending Mississippi pro-life case that could return laws regarding abortion to individual states.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to protests at the homes of justices, a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/republican-lawmakers-urge-doj-to-investigate-attacks-on-pro-life-centers-as-domestic-terrorism\">series of attacks<\/a> have occurred at houses of worship and pro-life centers nationwide, with growing concerns that abortion activists could threaten further violence when the case\u2019s ruling is released later this month.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Sen.
