Scott Applewhite<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Dems are delusional if they think hysterically dramatizing the events of that sad day will help them in the midterms or move the dial one iota on public perception of the Biden administration\u2019s failures.<\/p>\n<p>Our memories don\u2019t lie. A two-tier system of justice that offers benign forbearance to violent Democratic allies who break the law and punitive zero tolerance toward nonviolent Trump supporters has destroyed any concept of accountability.<\/p>\n<h2>Antifa reign of terror<\/h2>\n<p>We can\u2019t forget the far more lethal <a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2022\/05\/02\/antifa-shows-up-at-portland-gop-rally\/\">BLM\/Antifa riots<\/a> in the months leading up to the 2020 election, which have gone largely unpunished. Just as the J6 rioters were Trump allies, the Antifa rioters were Democratic allies. That was the instinct of most people, that the riots were in concert with the Democrats.<\/p>\n<p>We can\u2019t forget the lives lost, the $2 billion of property damage, the cops demoralized, and the lawlessness that persists in our cities as a result.<\/p>\n<aside class=\"single__inline-module alignright\">\n\t<\/aside>\n<p>We can\u2019t forget the violent armed insurrection outside the White House in May 2020, to use the language of Pelosi\u2019s J6 committee. Domestic terrorists, breaking down barriers, firebombing the historic St. John\u2019s Church, injuring police in an attempt to storm the White House. This was The Washington Post\u2019s idea of \u201cmostly peaceful protests.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>We can\u2019t forget that the president and his family had to be whisked into an underground bunker that night for their safety. Yet few were brought to account. Felony rioting charges brought by police against more than 100 people were almost all dropped.<\/p>\n<p>We can\u2019t forget the way\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2022\/06\/15\/team-biden-must-not-fly-black-lives-matter-flags-at-us-embassies\/\">Biden gave a wink<\/a> and a nod to the Defund the Police movement during his campaign. The candidate who once styled himself as a law-and-order guy but then refused to condemn violent anarchists torching our cities was happy to slime cops as \u201csystemically racist.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Nor has he condemned the current violence of pro-abortion activists, the <a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2022\/06\/09\/scotus-justices-protected-after-kavanaugh-assassination-attempt-pelosi\/\">attempted assassination of Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh<\/a>, the continuing harassment of judges outside their homes and attacks on pro-life centers across the country since the leak last month of a draft opinion suggesting the court would overturn Roe v. But they get to do it day after day.<\/p>\n<aside class=\"single__inline-module alignleft\">\n\t<\/aside>\n<p>The FBI conspicuously sent 15 agents to investigate a fake racist noose in NASCAR driver Bubba Wallace\u2019s garage, but the agency is invisible when it comes to the terrorist campaign on pro-life centers by an <a href=\"https:\/\/www.catholicnewsagency.com\/news\/251555\/white-house-condemns-pro-abortion-violence-after-new-janes-revenge-threats\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Antifa-linked group calling itself \u201cJane\u2019s Revenge.\u201d<\/a><\/p>\n<p>The FBI field office in Milwaukee told The Federalist that the Madison Police Department \u201cremains the lead agency .\u2009.\u2009. on the investigation\u201d into the firebombing and vandalism of the <a href=\"https:\/\/wifamilyaction.org\/wisconsin-family-action-responds-to-attack-on-its-office\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Wisconsin Family Action building last month.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Jane\u2019s Revenge claimed credit for this and other attacks, declaring \u201copen season\u201d on pro-lifers and promising to escalate the violence, in a statement Tuesday warning of \u201cincreasingly drastic measures\u201d that may not be \u201cso easily cleaned up as fire and graffiti.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>But the Department of Homeland Security\u2019s reaction to this paroxysm of unhinged violence has been bizarrely obtuse.
