The original photo was taken in 2014 and shows Schwarzenegger wearing a plain t-shirt.<\/p>\n<p><span><strong>Fact Check:\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Schwarzenegger recently appeared virtually at a conference of European leaders in Vienna, Austria, where he criticized them for accepting Russian oil imports amid Russia\u2019s invasion of Ukraine, according to Australian-based news outlet <a href=\"https:\/\/www.9news.com.au\/world\/russian-oil-sales-vladimir-putin-war-in-ukraine-fossil-fuels-coal-gas-lng-pipeline-europe\/d87327ee-4ba7-4db5-a43e-753435a52961\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">9News<\/a>. A reverse image search reveals the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.alamy.com\/arnold-schwarzenegger-and-sylvester-stallone-after-having-lunch-in-image65991012.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">original photo<\/a> can be found on the stock photo website Alamy and shows Schwarzenegger walking with actor Sylvester Stallone. Notably, there are no symbols or words on Schwarzenegger\u2019s shirt in this version of the photo.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cArnold Schwarzenegger and Sylvester Stallone after having lunch in Beverly Hills Beverly Hills, California \u2013 30.06.12,\u201d reads the image description, suggesting it was taken well before Russia\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.britannica.com\/place\/Ukraine\/The-crisis-in-Crimea-and-eastern-Ukraine\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">annexation<\/a> of the Crimea in 2014. <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/checkyourfact.com\/2022\/05\/11\/fact-check-ukraine-destroys-russian-tanks\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">(RELATED: Does This Video Show Ukrainian Forces Destroying Eight Russian Tanks?)<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>While the image is altered, Schwarzenegger has spoken out against Russia\u2019s invasion of Ukraine. He released a nine-minute video in March\u00a0in which he addressed Russian citizens about their government\u2019s disinformation about the conflict, according to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bbc.com\/news\/world-us-canada-60794809\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">BBC News<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>This is not the first time an image of a celebrity has been photoshopped to include a political message.
