Jackson<\/em> decision would return the issue of abortion to the state level. Forty-four days later, and after more than <a href=\"https:\/\/sbaprolife.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/06\/6.15.22-Pro-Abortion-Vandalism-Violence-Interruptions-Of-Worship.pdf\">40 pro-life individuals and organizations<\/a> have faced incidents of violence, vandalism, and intimidation, the FBI said they will investigate the incidents. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe FBI is investigating a series of attacks and threats targeting pregnancy resource centers and faith-based organizations across the country,\u201d the FBI National Press Office told The Federalist in an updated statement on Thursday. <\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2022\/06\/14\/corporate-media-law-enforcement-uninterested-in-political-violence-when-it-involves-pregnancy-centers\/\">original statement<\/a> sent to The Federalist on Monday when asked about the spike in attacks on pro-lifers said, \u201cWe have no comment on any specific incidents.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The statement comes after a number of congressional leaders and Senators sent letters to Attorney General Merrick Garland, demanding law enforcement agencies take action on the political violence. A <a href=\"https:\/\/sbaprolife.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/06\/6.15.22-Pro-Abortion-Vandalism-Violence-Interruptions-Of-Worship.pdf\">new report<\/a> from the pro-life group Susan B. Wade in the coming weeks unless the Department of Justice, the F.B.I., the U.S. Attorneys\u2019 Office take a firm public stance and proactive response against these violent threats, \u201d a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.lankford.senate.gov\/imo\/media\/doc\/E19CD7B00360AC5327AB20925AEEF445.6.7.22---letter-to-ag-garland---post-dobbs-violence.pdf\">letter<\/a> from 16 U.S. senators stated. <\/p>\n<p>Last fall, when the Supreme Court declined to enter emergency relief against Texas\u2019s \u201cheartbeat\u201d bill, the Justice Department immediately began looking for avenues to challenge the state\u2019s law.
