Since then, he has <a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2022\/05\/25\/biden-usda-department-of-agriculture-transgender-gender-discrimination-lunch-money\/\">ordered<\/a> bans on discrimination in education based on gender identity, which could lead to male students using female bathrooms, and is preparing to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.politico.com\/news\/2022\/06\/15\/biden-plan-transgender-youth-health-care-00039844\">require<\/a> states to permit the prescription of puberty blockers and other hormones to minor patients.<\/p>\n<p>However, the Republicans note, the Biden administration has not publicly stated how they define the term \u201cwoman\u201d under federal law. <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2022\/04\/21\/house-republicans-markwayne-mullin-letter-biden-miguel-cardona-democrats-compromising-progress-womens-sports-title-ix\/\">(RELATED: EXCLUSIVE: House Republicans Send Letter To Biden Administration Accusing Democrats Of Compromising Progress In Women\u2019s Sports)<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u201cOver the past few months, there has been much sudden discussion and confusion on how to define a woman,\u201d the 15 Republicans wrote to Deputy Assistant Secretary for Women\u2019s Health Dorothy Fink in a letter obtained exclusively by the Daily Caller. \u201cSince the term \u2018woman\u2019 is also found in numerous regulations, grants, conditions of participation, Medicaid 1115 waivers, and other documents codifying legally binding arrangements between HHS and the State of Texas, it is essential that there be no ambiguity of this term.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>Read the letter here:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a title=\"View (DAILY CALLER OBTAINED) -- Letter to HHS- What is a Woman on Scribd\" href=\"https:\/\/www.scribd.com\/document\/578475220\/DAILY-CALLER-OBTAINED-Letter-to-HHS-What-is-a-Woman#from_embed\">(DAILY CALLER OBTAINED) \u2014 \u2026<\/a> by <a title=\"View Henry Rodgers&#039;s profile on Scribd\" href=\"https:\/\/www.scribd.com\/user\/527927298\/Henry-Rodgers#from_embed\">Henry Rodgers<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Conservatives have pressed prominent Biden administration officials and nominees to define the word \u201cwoman\u201d on several occasions. Supreme Court nominee Ketanji Brown Jackson declined to do so when pressed on the topic by Republican Tennessee Sen. Marsha Blackburn, with Jackson <a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2022\/03\/22\/judge-jackson-marsha-blackburn-woman-definition\/\">claiming<\/a> that she was unqualified to answer the question because she is not a biologist. HHS Secretary Xavier Becerra also struggled to answer the question during an April <a href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/dpxYgVLkYBY?t=12226\">hearing<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe woke left demands the denial of objective reality, rendering concepts foundational to all humankind meaningless. Acceptance is not enough, they require praise of this insanity. Counterintuitively, since the term \u2018woman\u2019 is used in countless laws designed to help women, the ambiguity they\u2019re creating will likely result in increased harm to biological women.
