Absolutely. Absolutely. I love him. I loved him with all my heart and I tried the best I could to make a deeply broken relationship work. And I couldn\u2019t. I have no bad feelings or ill will towards him at all. I know that might be hard to understand or it might be really easy to understand if you\u2019ve ever loved anyone,\u201d Heard said.<\/p>\n<p>Heard also spoke about what she said was a pledge by Depp to hit her with \u201ctotal global humiliation.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI know he promised it \u2026 it feels as though he has,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n<p>The interview was taped just days after a jury ruled that Heard, 36, had defamed Depp, 59, by writing in an op-ed published by The Washington Post that she was a survivor of \u201cdomestic abuse.\u201d Depp sued her for $50 million. Heard then countersued for $100 million, claiming that her former husband defamed her when he and his lawyer said she made up her allegations of domestic violence.<\/p>\n<p>The jury ordered Heard to pay her ex $10.4 million.<\/p>\n<p>In the interview, Heard also discussed her pledge to donate the $7 million she got in her divorce settlement from Depp to two charities, which she is yet to do, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailymail.co.uk\/femail\/article-10919309\/Amber-Heard-admits-loves-Johnny-Depp-despite-repeating-abuse-claims.html\">according<\/a> to the Daily Mail.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mol-para-with-font\">\u201cWhen grilled by Guthrie about the $3.5 million donation she said she had made to the ACLU from her $7 million divorce settlement from Depp, Heard insisted that she still plans to \u2018honor\u2019 that payment, but that she had never intended to make it seem as though it had already been made, despite her stating to the British high court during a previous court case that she \u2018had donated\u2019 the money,\u201d the U.K. paper wrote.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI made a pledge and that pledge is made over time by its nature,\u201d she said. \u201cI don\u2019t know\u2026 I feel like so much of the trial was meant to cast dispersions on who I am as a person, my credibility, to call me a liar in every way you can.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><em>Joseph Curl has covered politics for 35 years, including 12 years as White House correspondent for a national newspaper.
