Biden, now 79, would be 82 on Inauguration Day 2025.<\/p>\n<p>She didn\u2019t take the question well.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cDon! You\u2019re asking me this question! Oh my gosh, he\u2019s the president of the United States! You know, he \u2014 I can\u2019t even keep up with him,\u201d Karine Jean-Pierre declared. \u201cWe just got back from New Mexico. We just got back from California. Uh, that is \u2014 I, I, that is \u2014 that is not a question that we should be even asking. Just look at the work that he does. Just look at how he\u2019s delivering for the American public.\u201d<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">DON LEMON: \u201cDoes the president has the stamina, physically and mentally, do you think to continue on even after 2024?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>KARINE JEAN-PIERRE: \u201cThat is not a question that we should be even asking\u201d <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/dUfQil9qKp\">pic.twitter.com\/dUfQil9qKp<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 RNC Research (@RNCResearch) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/RNCResearch\/status\/1536547622617600003?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">June 14, 2022<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Lemon\u2019s question comes after a slew of reports \u2014 even from the liberal mainstream media \u2014 that says Democrats are mulling replacing Biden at the top of the ticket in 2024.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMany Democratic lawmakers and party officials are venting their frustrations with President Biden\u2019s struggle to advance the bulk of his agenda, doubting his ability to rescue the party from a predicted midterm trouncing and increasingly viewing him as an anchor that should be cut loose in 2024,\u201d <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2022\/06\/11\/us\/politics\/biden-2024-election-democrats.html\">according<\/a> to a recent piece by The New York Times.<\/p>\n<p>The Times report cited \u201cnearly 50 Democratic officials\u201d and \u201cdisappointed voters\u201d who are \u201calarmed about Republicans\u2019 rising strength and extraordinarily pessimistic about an immediate path forward\u201d under the flagging Biden administration.<\/p>\n<p>With \u201clow enthusiasm\u201d from Biden\u2019s base \u2014 nearly every constituency is abandoning him, including blacks, Hispanics, women, young people, and union members \u2014 top party officials question his \u201cleadership, his age and his capability to take the fight to former President Donald J. Trump a second time,\u201d the Times wrote.<\/p>\n<p>Jean-Pierre rushed to dismiss the piece.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cLook, what, that \u2014 that \u2014 that article that we\u2019re talking about is hearsay, it\u2019s salacious, that\u2019s not what we care about. We care about how we are going to deliver for the American people. How are we going to make their lives better? That\u2019s what the president talks about. That is his focus.
