I cannot talk about elections; I cannot be a political analyst from here &#8230; The president, as you know, has been asked that question many times, and he has answered it. His answer has been pretty simple, which is yes, he is running for re-election.&#8221;<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<section data-v-f313b7e6=\"\">\n<p>&#8220;I can&#8217;t say more than that,&#8221; she concluded, before moving on to the next question.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<section data-v-f313b7e6=\"\">\n<p>Former press secretary Jen Psaki first confirmed that Biden would be seeking re-election during a briefing in November 2021.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<section data-v-f313b7e6=\"\">\n<p>If in fact Biden follows through and runs for a second term, he faces an uphill battle, even within his own party.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<section data-v-f313b7e6=\"\">\n<p>Recent <a href=\"https:\/\/thepostmillennial.com\/bidens-favorability-plummets-more-americans-say-country-is-heading-in-the-wrong-direction-poll\">polls<\/a> put the president&#8217;s approval rating at 39 percent, with only 33 percent of Democrats <a href=\"https:\/\/thepostmillennial.com\/bidens-favorability-plummets-more-americans-say-country-is-heading-in-the-wrong-direction-poll\">saying<\/a> they believe the country is headed in the right direction.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<section data-v-f313b7e6=\"\">\n<p>Under the Democrats, inflation is at a <a href=\"https:\/\/thepostmillennial.com\/inflation-agbidenflation-inflation-hits-41-year-high-as-gas-food-prices-soarain-reaches-record-highs\">41-year high<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/thepostmillennial.com\/biden-appears-to-mock-americans-intelligence-in-comments-about-supply-chain\">supply chains<\/a> are still facing challenges, and the economy is <a href=\"https:\/\/thepostmillennial.com\/jpmorgan-chase-ceo-warns-of-upcoming-economic-hurricane\">headed downhill<\/a>. Biden&#8217;s handling of <a href=\"https:\/\/thepostmillennial.com\/after-a-year-in-office-people-are-frustrated-at-biden\">COVID-19<\/a> and the August 2021 withdrawal from <a href=\"https:\/\/thepostmillennial.com\/biden-admits-taliban-takeover-of-afghanistan-unfolded-more-quickly-than-anticipated-takes-no-questions-returns-to-vacation\">Afghanistan<\/a> have also angered many Americans.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<section data-v-f313b7e6=\"\">\n<p>During a recent interview on CNN, Rep.
