Though the Western drama is set in the past, modern audiences will connect with the universal themes of strength, courage, and resilience in the face of evil.<\/p>\n<p>The movie is The Daily Wire\u2019s fourth feature film, and marks actress <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/topic\/gina-carano\">Gina Carano\u2019s<\/a> triumphant return to the silver screen after being fired from the hit \u201cStar Wars\u201d series \u201cThe Mandalorian.\u201d Carano got Canceled by Disney for a controversial Instagram post that questioned discrimination based on political opinions.<\/p>\n<p>Afterwards, Carano joined forces with The Daily Wire, vowing to create films on her terms. Carano followed through on this promise with \u201cTerror on the Prairie,\u201d which will be available exclusively to Daily Wire members beginning June 14.<\/p>\n<p>Carano stars as Hattie McAllister, a \u201ctough-as-rawhide pioneer mother forced to defend herself and her children against ruthless criminals terrorizing her family while her husband is away. When her husband, played by UFC champion Donald \u2018Cowboy\u2019 Cerrone, leaves their remote homestead to buy supplies in a nearby town, it\u2019s up to Hattie to keep their home and their children safe,\u201d per the press release.\u00a0<\/p>\n[embedded content]\n<p>\u201cThe release of this movie feels like closure of a particularly painful experience in my life,\u201d Carano said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBecoming Hattie McAlister allowed me to wear everything I was feeling at that time out loud, and to my surprise you can really feel it on the character more than I was aware. This is a story about a family struggling with all the elements against them and then some, but they are fighting for their lives and dreams.
