This is my story,\u201d Buhle said in a clip of the interview with <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/GMA\/status\/1536061221727772676\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">ABC\u2019s \u201cGood Morning America\u201d<\/a> that was released Sunday. <\/p>\n<p>The interview coincides with the publication of Buhle\u2019s book, \u201cIf We Break: A Memoir of Marriage, Addiction, and Healing\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Buhle and Hunter Biden divorced in 2017 after 24 years of marriage. The couple share <\/p>\n<p>In the book, Buhle talks about Hunter Biden\u2019s addiction to drugs, how she tossed him from their home after she discovered a crack pipe, his frequent extramarital romances \u2014 including the scandalous affair with his late brother Beau\u2019s widow \u2014 and about being a member of the Biden clan.<\/p>\n<p>In an excerpt of the book released earlier this month, Buhle writes that the affair between her then-husband and Hallie Biden began shortly after Beau died of brain cancer in May 2015.<\/p>\n<p>At the time, Hunter Biden was working to set up the Beau Biden Foundation with Hallie and her parents.<\/p>\n<p>Buhle wrote that a marriage counselor recommended that they spend time together to grieve.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBut he started spending most of his time at Hallie\u2019s house. Our therapist told me Hunter needed to be up there, helping Hallie,\u201d Buhle wrote in the book. \u201c\u2018But what about his sobriety?\u2019 I asked her. \u2018He needs routine. If anything, I felt a strange vindication.
