The Napa County District Attorney\u2019s Office is currently reviewing charges against Paul Pelosi.<\/p>\n<p><span><strong>Fact Check:\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Paul Pelosi was arrested for allegedly driving under the influence with a blood alcohol content level of 0.08 or higher after being involved in a collision in Napa County, California, according to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnn.com\/2022\/05\/29\/politics\/paul-pelosi-arrested-dui\/index.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">CNN<\/a>. He was released the next morning after posting $5,000 bail, the outlet reported.<\/p>\n<p>The Facebook post shows a screenshot of a tweet from Republican Colorado Rep. Lauren Boebert that reads, \u201cPaul Pelosi\u2019s DUI charges have been dropped. Is anyone really surprised?\u201d<\/p>\n<p><span>There is no evidence to support this claim. There are no credible <a href=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/search?q=paul+pelosi+dui+charges+dropped&#038;sxsrf=ALiCzsY_GMWwV4FUFqGc-qdt35fD_H0R4A:1654801943228&#038;source=lnms&#038;tbm=nws&#038;sa=X&#038;ved=2ahUKEwiYqv_PiaH4AhVvhOAKHajWD-AQ_AUoAXoECAEQAw&#038;biw=1536&#038;bih=664&#038;dpr=1.25\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">news reports<\/a> suggesting Paul Pelosi\u2019s charges have been dropped. No such announcement appears on the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.countyofnapa.org\/Search?searchPhrase=Paul%20Pelosi\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">website<\/a> or <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/NapaSheriff\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">social<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/NapaCountySO\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">media accounts<\/a> of\u00a0the Napa County Sherriff\u2019s Office. <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/checkyourfact.com\/2022\/06\/02\/fact-check-paul-pelosi-child-porn-arrest\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">(RELATED: Was Paul Pelosi Arrested For Possession Of Child Porn?)<\/a><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>The<span> Napa County District Attorney\u2019s Office issued a June 9 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/napacountyda\/posts\/pfbid0AKstFLb9G7L1dN8NDYF9LbjgjrW72qgEH6toVQyndkNxj4mwBixX68htM9iX5w3rl\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">press release<\/a> stating the charges against Paul Pelosi are currently under review. <\/span><span>\u201c<\/span>No decision has been made at this time,\u201d reads part of the press release. \u201cAny speculation to the contrary is incorrect.\u201d The statement goes on to note that the media and public would be notified if and when charges were filed.<\/p>\n<p>Paul Pelosi is set to appear in Napa County Superior Court August 3, according to the press release.
