And, if that\u2019s not enough, he repeats what he hears at the bar.\u00a0And that\u2019s fine since we shouldn\u2019t turn to stand-up comics for the latest, accurate headlines.<\/p>\n<p>Burr still screwed up one of the most publicized media stories in recent memory during \u201cBill Burr Presents: Friends Who Kill.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The Massachusetts native isn\u2019t the star of the show. It\u2019s a showcase for hilarious comedians who \u201ckill,\u201d to use industry vernacular. Burr does open the Netflix special, delivering a darkly comic look at the pandemic and other societal ills.<\/p>\n<p>His short set steers into the Kyle Rittenhouse saga, the tale of an Illinois teen who shot three BLM protesters, all white, during a chaotic protest tied to the <a href=\"https:\/\/apnews.com\/article\/us-news-us-department-of-justice-rusten-sheskey-jacob-blake-kenosha-4f8493dd0776ef6046e052a538cd1460\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">death of a black Wisconsin man, Jacob Blake<\/a>, by local police.<\/p>\n<p>Two of the men Rittenhouse shot died.<\/p>\n<p>Burr brought up the 2020 incident, which took place in Kenosha, Wisc., to prove a point about gun control.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI don\u2019t have a problem with guns,\u201d the left-leaning Burr said. \u201cLiberals gotta quit taking away conservative people\u2019s guns.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBecause when you try to take away their guns, then you get them in a corner where they gotta start defending everybody with a gun. You know, like that f***ing idiot Rittenhouse?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cTurns out the two people he killed were a convicted child molester and a skateboarder, two of the most annoying people in society. So as dumb as this kid is, he somehow went two for two.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Edgy stuff, the kind of material many comics might avoid.<\/p>\n<p>Not Burr.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.hollywoodintoto.com\/bill-burr-gina-carano-bizarrre-firing\/\"><strong>RELATED: Bill Burr: Liberals Proved Gina Carano Right By Firing Her\u00a0<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Next, he jokes about Rittenhouse\u2019s mother offering him a ride to the \u201criot,\u201d something he couldn\u2019t confirm with his crack Google research.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cYou gotta drop me off like two blocks away so my other racist friends don\u2019t see my mommy drove me,\u201d Burr said.<\/p>\n<p>The comic then says Rittenhouse shouldn\u2019t trace his heritage in case it comes up with something unexpected.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWith those big pouty lips I don\u2019t think he\u2019s gonna like the results,\u201d he said, insinuating Rittenhouse may be part-African, presumably, given a stereotype regarding black people\u2019s lips.<\/p>\n<p>His racist friends won\u2019t accept the young man after that.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cC\u2019mon, man, I\u2019m like 91 percent you!\u201d he cried, imitating Rittenhouse trying to unite with his fellow racists. \u201cUnd the Fuhrer only accepts 100 percent Caucasian,\u201d the doorman answered in a mock Hitler voice.<\/p>\n<p>A <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fox6now.com\/news\/kyle-rittenhouse-not-guilty-reaction-pours-in\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">jury acquitted Rittenhouse<\/a>\u00a0on all counts last year in the shooting incident. Yet the media and then-candidate Joe Biden, instantly considered him guilty despite the video evidence to the contrary. Many, including Biden, insinuated he was a white supremacist, too.<\/p>\n<p>Without evidence, as the media is fond of saying.<\/p>\n<p>Reporter Miranda Devine <a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2021\/11\/17\/10-debunked-heinous-lies-about-kyle-rittenhouse-devine\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">debunked the widely-spread narrative<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>In one story, the Intercept used the term \u201cwhite supremacist\u201d 16 times. The accusation has become holy writ, but there is zero evidence. The FBI scoured Kyle\u2019s phone and found nothing about white supremacy or militias, the court heard. All they saw were pro-police, \u201cBlue Lives Matter\u201d posts from a kid who had been a police and fire department cadet, wanted to be a police officer or paramedic and once sat near the front of a Trump rally.<\/p>\n<p>Even the far-Left Snopes dubbed the claim then-Candidate Biden <a href=\"https:\/\/www.snopes.com\/fact-check\/kyle-rittenhouse-biden\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">called Rittenhouse a white supremacist \u201cmostly true\u201d <\/a>without suggesting the Democrat had a point.<\/p>\n<p>That didn\u2019t stop Burr from slandering Rittenhouse as a racist in three separate jokes. His \u201cGoogle\u201d research, apparently, has some flaws.<\/p>\n<p>The story may not be over, though.<\/p>\n<p>Rittenhouse said <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wane.com\/news\/kyle-rittenhouses-lawyer-looks-to-target-facebook-in-defamation-lawsuit\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Johnny Depp\u2019s recent defamation suit victory<\/a> over his ex-wife, Amber Heard, inspired him to take legal action against the outlets that slandered him in the days and months after the shooting.<\/p>\n<p>And he has <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/us\/sandmann-lawyer-rittenhouse-legal-defamation-team\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">more than one target in mind.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>The lawyer who represented Covington Catholic student Nicholas Sandmann during his defamation cases has joined Kyle Rittenhouse\u2019s legal team, and says there will be \u201cat least 10\u201d defamation lawsuits against prominent figures and companies for comments against the teenager.<\/p>\n<p>Sandmann settled lawsuits with <a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2021\/12\/18\/covington-catholic-graduate-nicholas-sandmann-settlement-with-nbc\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">CNN, NBC-Universal and The Washington Post<\/a> for undisclosed sums after the liberal news sites unfairly framed him as racist for a Jan. 2019 incident in D.C. He also targeted NPR, ABC, CBS, The Guardian and more media companies.<\/p>\n<p>Could Burr be on Rittenhouse\u2019s list?<\/p>\n<p>He\u2019s a comedian, not an alleged news source. That didn\u2019t stop Sandmann from attempting to sue comedienne Kathy Griffin for her defamatory framing of him shortly after the D.C. encounter. A judge <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cincinnati.com\/story\/news\/2021\/02\/23\/covington-catholic-students-cannot-sue-comedian-kathy-griffin-judges-say\/4565752001\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">threw out Sandmann\u2019s case<\/a> against the self-described D-list comic, despite her attempt to dox the teen and his fellow students.<\/p>\n<p>The best comedy is based on truth.
