How many of your colleagues in Congress did that? And what evidence do you have? Because you know that congressman Scott Perry is denying it.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/dailywire.com\/news\/jamie-raskin-second-trump-impeachment-a-dramatic-success-trumps-lawyers-explosive-and-deranged\/\">Raskin<\/a> appeared to evade Bash\u2019s questions \u2014 namely how many Republicans he was accusing and what kind of evidence he had against them. Instead, he argued that if Republicans had done such a thing, it was an indicator that they were guilty of a crime and knew that.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe seeking of pardons is powerful demonstration of the consciousness of guilt, or at least the consciousness you may be in trouble,\u201d he said. \u201cThat\u2019s what\u2019s so shocking about this. It\u2019s not just one.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cYou have evidence that this happened?\u201d Bash asked again.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt is multiple members of Congress, as the vice chair said at our opening period,\u201d Raskin said, still not giving a firm number and saying only that the truth would come out in time. \u201cAnd all in due course. The details will surface.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSo, yes, there\u2019s evidence?\u201d Bash tried a third time.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cEverything we\u2019re doing is documented by evidence,\u201d Raskin insisted. \u201cUnlike the big lie, which is based on nonsense, as former Attorney General Barr said. Everything that we\u2019re doing is based on facts and this is a bipartisan investigation, which is determined to ferret out all the facts of what happened.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The Washington Examiner\u2019s Byron York made it clear that he was not impressed with Raskin\u2019s answers. \u201cI\u2019m not saying the J6 committee does not have evidence on this topic,\u201d he tweeted.
