In a video posted to his Instagram Friday, the 28-year-old singer revealed he\u2019s been diagnosed with Ramsay Hunt Syndrome.<\/p>\n<p>According to the Mayo Clinic, it occurs when a shingles outbreak affects the facial nerve near an ear, which can cause facial paralysis and hearing loss. Biebers post came after he publicized he would be postponing a few shows.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Sending lots of love, light, &#038; prayers to you <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/justinbieber?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">@justinbieber<\/a> \u2764\ufe0f we love you so much! This nostril will not move. So there\u2019s full paralysis on this side of my face.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>He revealed he\u2019s started having trouble eating and has asked his fans to keep him in their prayers.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p><strong>\u201cBeen getting progressively harder to eat,\u201d the singer stated. \u201cWhich has been extremely frustrating, please pray for me.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>The singer said he is now going to rest and relax.
