There is no record of CNN reporting on such a document.<\/p>\n<p><strong><span>Fact Check:<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Facebook image shows what appears to be a screenshot of June 2 tweet from CNN\u2019s verified account that features an image of Chinese President Xi Jinping.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cA leaked Chinese geopolitical strategy document reveals China\u2019s self-confidence,\u201d reads the alleged tweet. \u201cThe document predicts, \u2018The US and Western Europe will collapse due to cultural and demographic conflict by 2050.\u2019 China\u2019s leaders increasingly see multiculturalism as \u2018cultural suicide\u2019 and believe the west is dying because of it.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The image is fabricated. The alleged tweet is nowhere to be found on CNN\u2019s verified <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/search?q=China%20%22The%20US%20and%20Western%20Europe%20will%20collapse%22%20(from%3ACNN)&#038;src=typed_query&#038;f=top\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Twitter<\/a> account. There is likewise no mention of the alleged Chinese document on CNN\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnn.com\/search?q=China+%22The+US+and+Western+Europe+will+collapse%22\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">website<\/a> or other <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/page\/5550296508\/search\/?q=China%20%22The%20US%20and%20Western%20Europe%20will%20collapse%22\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">social<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/cnn\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">media<\/a> accounts.
