Lopez stressed about how she was going to do her part with a limited amount of time on stage, <a href=\"https:\/\/ew.com\/movies\/jennifer-lopez-halftime-documentary-nfl-double-headline-show-worst-idea\/\">Entertainment Weekly<\/a> reported on Wednesday.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe have six f***ing minutes,\u201d <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/jennifer-lopez-trolled-after-working-her-own-song-into-inaugural-performance\">Lopez<\/a>\u00a0explained in the scene. \u201cWe have 30 seconds of a song, and if we take a minute, that\u2019s it, we\u2019ve got five left. But, there\u2019s got to be certain songs that we sing, though.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe have to have our singing moments,\u201d she added, speaking to her music director Kim Burse. \u201cIt\u2019s not going to be a dance f***ing revue. We have to sing our message. This is the worst idea in the world to have two people do the Super Bowl. It was the worst idea in the world.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Entertainment Weekly noted that the \u201cHustlers\u201d star\u2019s longtime manager Benny Medina also expressed his frustration with the half-time plans.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cTypically, you have one headliner at a Super Bowl,\u201d Medina shared. \u201cThat headliner constructs a show, and, should they choose to have other guests, that\u2019s their choice. It was an insult to say you needed two Latinas to do the job that one artist historically has done.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>At one point in the film, Lopez talked to Shakira about her performance, saying they would probably have a max of 14 minutes and should probably just plan to each use up half of that time.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI know that the Super Bowl people want us to be weaved throughout the show. I haven\u2019t had a confirmation about how many minutes I\u2019m going to have,\u201d Shakira explained to the \u201cSelena\u201d star.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cLet me address that really quick,\u201d Lopez responded. \u201cThey said 12 minutes. I got kind of a good confirmation that we could have an extra minute or two, so now we\u2019re at, like, 13, 14 minutes. I think, Shakira, what we should have is you should have half the time and I should [have half].\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIf it was going to be a double-headliner, they should have given us 20 minutes,\u201d she added. \u201cThat\u2019s what they should\u2019ve f***ing done.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>WATCH:<\/strong><\/p>\n[embedded content]\n<p>In the trailer posted on YouTube, the pop singer said, \u201cI\u2019m trying to give you something with substance, not just us out there shaking our f***ing a**es. I want something real.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The report noted that when performers like Madonna and Lady Gaga were picked by the league to perform their halftime shows, they didn\u2019t have to share the stage and each were given 14 and 15 minutes the years they performed. In 2012 when Madonna headlined, she invited stars Nicki Minaj and Cee Lo Green to perform with her, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nbcsports.com\/bayarea\/49ers\/ranking-15-best-super-bowl-halftime-shows-history\">NBC<\/a> sports.com noted.<\/p>\n<p>In 2004, Janet Jackson was picked to headline the Super Bowl halftime show. She invited a surprise guest to perform with her, Justin Timberlake, and was later remembered for its \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/www.vox.com\/culture\/2017\/10\/25\/16523800\/justin-timberlake-super-bowl-backlash-janet-jackson\">wardrobe malfunction<\/a>.\u201d That year the show also included a performance by Kid Rock, P. Diddy, and Nelly.<\/p>\n<p>The 2022 Super Bowl Halftime show was a joint effort headlined by five performers: Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Eminem, Mary J.
