It sampled 1,500 American adults and has a margin of error of 2.7%. <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2022\/06\/09\/gas-prices-michigan-police-department-isabella-county-sheriffs-office-911-calls\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">(RELATED: Soaring Gas Prices Keep Michigan Police Department From Responding To Some 911 Calls)<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2022\/06\/06\/80-percent-americans-economy-bad-inflation-poll\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Americans<\/a> continue to rate both issues highly and blame <a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2022\/06\/03\/joe-biden-downplays-recession-fears-may-jobs-report\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Biden<\/a> for them. 66% said inflation and prices are \u201cvery important\u201d to them, and 69% said inflation had a negative impact on them personally. 44% said Biden bears \u201ca lot\u201d of responsibility for inflation, and additionally 31% said he bears \u201csome\u201d responsibility.<\/p>\n<p>Friday, <a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2022\/06\/10\/consumer-price-index-highest-1981\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">new data<\/a> from the Bureau of Labor Statistics showed that consumer prices reached a 40-year high in may.
