Their salary went up!! <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/BCtOVHMN4W\">https:\/\/t.co\/BCtOVHMN4W<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Snoop Dogg (@SnoopDogg) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/SnoopDogg\/status\/1534194384366759936?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">June 7, 2022<\/a><\/p>\n<p>The rapper first mentioned the fact that he had a professional blunt roller on his staff during an interview with veteran shock jock and Sirius XM host Howard Stern.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThat motherf***er is like Lurch from \u2018The\u00a0Addams Family,&#8217;\u201d he said. \u201c\u2018You rang?\u2019 That motherf***er\u2019s timing is impeccable.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Actor Seth Rogen \u2014 also well\u2019 known for his own enthusiasm for the occasional blunt \u2014 appeared alongside the artist and confirmed that professional blunt rollers did, in fact, exist.<\/p>\n<p>When Stern pressed for more information, asking whether Snoop Dogg really did officially employ someone whose sole purpose was making sure he was never lacking in the blunt department \u2014 and the rapper obliged.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThat\u2019s his J-O-B\u2014his occupation. On his resume, it says, \u2018what do you do?\u2019 I\u2019m a blunt roller. Professional \u2014 P-B-R, professional blunt roller,\u201d Snoop Dogg confirmed.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHow does that come about, Snoop?\u201d Stern asked.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIf you\u2019re great at something that I need, I\u2019m hiring you,\u201d Snoop Dogg replied matter-of-factly, prompting laughter from Rogen and more questions from Stern.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhat kind of income can a guy make, rolling joints?\u201d he asked, comparing a professional blunt roller to a professional wine steward \u2014 who <a href=\"https:\/\/www.salary.com\/research\/salary\/benchmark\/sommelier-salary\/ca\">might make<\/a> between $52,000 and $83,000 annually. \u201cYou know, it\u2019s almost like a sommelier. How do you figure out a salary for this guy?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>That was when Snoop Dogg revealed that the going rate for the job was \u201csomewhere between $40,000 and $50,000 a year.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Since that interview took place in 2019, however, inflation has certainly taken its toll. According to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.officialdata.org\/us\/inflation\/2019?amount=40000\">OfficialData.org<\/a>, inflation has risen by 13.08% since 2019.
