The image appears to be altered.<\/p>\n<p><span><strong>Fact Check:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>A Facebook photo purportedly shows Trudeau wearing a costume of Tigger, a fictional character from the <a href=\"https:\/\/winniethepooh.disney.com\/characters\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Winnie the Pooh<\/a> children series, and Spider-Man underwear. \u201cJustin \u2018Tigger\u2019 Trudeau\u201d reads text included in the image.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis creature now identifies as the Dictator of Canada \u2013 the shithole,\u201d reads the post\u2019s caption. <span><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/checkyourfact.com\/2022\/02\/02\/fact-check-justin-trudeau-unvaccinated-citizens-facebook\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">(RELATED: Did Justin Trudeau Call On Canadians To \u2018Make Life Difficult\u2019 For Unvaccinated Citizens In A Facebook Post?)<\/a><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>The photo appears to be digitally fabricated. Check Your Fact found no credible source for it. A reverse image search reveals various iterations of it have been shared online as far back as <a href=\"http:\/\/www.hss.pl\/module.php?op=galery&#038;cmd=show_img&#038;sub=78&#038;pic=5813&#038;page=1&#038;accord=id%20DESC&#038;order=\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">2008<\/a>. The earliest iterations show another man, not Trudeau. The image appears to have been edited many times over the years, with one version showing the face of YouTuber <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/liam_ccfc\/status\/1354949113067012096\/photo\/1\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Jake Paul<\/a> while <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/fake_biden\/status\/1461520962835288065\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">another<\/a> shows the face of Florida Congressman <a href=\"https:\/\/gaetz.house.gov\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Matt Gaetz<\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>This is not the first time misinformation has spread online regarding Trudeau\u2019s apparel. <a href=\"https:\/\/checkyourfact.com\/2021\/11\/05\/fact-check-justin-trudeau-kilt-climate-change-cop26\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Check Your Fact<\/a> previously debunked a claim that Trudeau wore a kilt to the United Nations Climate Change Conference in 2021.
