The bill was passed <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nationalreview.com\/corner\/top-senate-dem-very-much-concerned-pelosi-hasnt-passed-bill-to-protect-families-of-supreme-court-justices\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">unanimously<\/a> in early May, but the House under Speaker Nancy Pelosi hasn\u2019t put the bill to a vote.<\/p>\n<p>26-year-old Nicholas John Roske was <a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2022\/06\/08\/brett-kavanaugh-man-gun-maryland-supreme-court-roe-v-wade-dobbs-v-jackson-womens-health\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">arrested<\/a> outside Kavanaugh\u2019s home at 2 am Wednesday morning in Montgomery County, Maryland after telling a 911 dispatcher that he intended to kill the Supreme Court justice. Police <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2022\/06\/08\/us\/brett-kavanaugh-threat-arrest.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">found<\/a> a knife, a pistol, magazines, ammunition and more on Roske upon arresting him.<\/p>\n<p>Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell is calling on Pelosi and House Democrats to pass the bill ensuring added security protections for Supreme Court justices.<strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2022\/06\/09\/cnn-analyst-hypocritical-left-lecturing-violence-kavanaugh-attack\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">(RELATED:\u00a0CNN Analyst Calls Out The \u2018Hypocritical\u2019 Left For \u2018Lecturing\u2019 About Violence While Downplaying Kavanaugh Attack)<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u201cHouse Democrats have spent weeks blocking, blocking the measure \u2026 related to security for Supreme Court justices. The House Democrats have refused to take it up,\u201d McConnell <a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2022\/06\/08\/mitch-mcconnell-calls-for-security-after-brett-kavanaugh-threat\/?utm_campaign=SocialFlow&#038;utm_medium=SocialFlow&#038;utm_source=NYPTwitter\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">said Wednesday<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHouse Democrats must pass this bill and they need to do it today,\u201d McConnell said, \u201cNo more fiddling around with this. They need to pass it. They need to stop their multi-week blockade against the Supreme Court security bill and pass it before the sun sets today.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Republican Sen. John Cornyn of Texas said the House should remain in session until the bill is passed.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe arrest of this individual proves these threats to the Justices\u2019 lives are horrifyingly real, and it\u2019s unconscionable for House Democrats to leave their families without police protection for even one more day,\u201d <a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2022\/06\/08\/mitch-mcconnell-calls-for-security-after-brett-kavanaugh-threat\/?utm_campaign=SocialFlow&#038;utm_medium=SocialFlow&#038;utm_source=NYPTwitter\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Cornyn said<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Illinois Democrat Sen.
