John Barrasso of Wyoming told Fox News anchor John Roberts Wednesday that getting to an all-electric automobile fleet \u201ccannot be done.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis is part of the great fantasy of the Democrats,\u201d Barrasso said on \u201cAmerica Reports.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cLast week talking about high energy prices, Pete Buttigieg, Secretary of Transportation, what did he say? What did the secretary of energy say? They said buy an electric car. People in Wyoming cannot afford that, they are $55,000 each,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n<p>The Biden administration admitted that the prices for gasoline and other energy sources will <a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2022\/06\/07\/joe-biden-historic-energy-prices-gasoline-oil-natural-gas\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">remain<\/a> high through 2023.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis is the high gas prices that so many Democrats have wanted for years to force people into electric cars,\u201d Barrasso said. <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2021\/12\/23\/electric-vehicle-charging-price-joe-biden-tesla\/\">(RELATED: Are Electric Vehicles A Scam?)<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>WATCH:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Americans in 28 states face potential blackouts due to an inability of the power grid to shortfalls in electric generating capacity, the North American Electric Reliability Corporation <a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2022\/05\/19\/energy-emergencies-electricity-grid-midwest-california-texas\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">reported<\/a> last month.
