Upon arrival, Officers found that someone had spray-painted the business with red graffiti, with the threatening wording, \u2018If abortions aren\u2019t safe, neither are you!\u2019 and an anarchist symbol on the front of the building,\u201d the release <a href=\"https:\/\/mountainx.com\/blogwire\/apd-seeks-persons-who-vandalized-business-with-threatening-graffiti\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">stated<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThey also found the wording, \u2018No forced birth\u2019 on the side. Red paint was sprayed throughout, and windows were broken, which occurred sometime overnight Monday,\u201d it added.<\/p>\n<p>The report also noted that at least one person may have been injured during the damage to the building, as the investigation found blood samples near a broken window.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOfficers also found signs that an offender may have injured themselves, and APD Forensic Technicians were able to obtain blood samples left behind from a broken window and a bloody trail,\u201d the release shared.<\/p>\n<p>The organization\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/MountainAreaPregnancyServices\/posts\/3280267505563575?__cft__[0]=AZV2COxdiuUZ81sdlmwIaC7BmOGzi3whrf3wblV65P4ghuwpGqPuUyHpTo7a4zW3oqdDDVkI6di0u4ahwgwpX0wC5Tlo_7OqZxVSvWV01C8AB7Ts1Rzg09P38KspGl8JjP6ISni98GqgT48nJspUZsEouZ6D-R9iIkCYRly9OxVJbhnBUHJ10FH18OIpa0sq2AM&#038;__tn__=%2CO%2CP-R\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Facebook account<\/a> also posted pictures of the vandalism on Tuesday morning.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cFriends, please pray!!! Our building was vandalized last night. We are dealing with the cops and will still see clients, but we need your prayer support!!\u201d the group added in the post.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt saddens us,\u201d Executive Director Kristi Brown <a href=\"https:\/\/www.citizen-times.com\/story\/news\/2022\/06\/07\/asheville-police-mountain-area-pregnancy-services-vandalized-threatened\/7544848001\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">told<\/a> the Asheville Citizen-Times.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe\u2019re heartbroken over this. The emotions that our team is experiencing (are) all over the board, right? \u2026 One moment you\u2019re sad, you\u2019re angry, you\u2019re frustrated. Then you\u2019re glad no one was harmed,\u201d she added.<\/p>\n<p>No one was in the building at the time, according to reports. The organization told the Citizen-Times it will continue operating despite the damages to the building.<\/p>\n<p>The damage also comes alongside the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/pro-life-group-says-abortion-activists-firebombed-new-york-location\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">report<\/a> of another pro-life group pregnancy center that was attacked outside of Buffalo, New York, early Tuesday morning, adding to a growing number of similar attacks following a leak of a Supreme Court opinion regarding the potential overturn of\u00a0<em>Roe v. Wade.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>The attack occurred at CompassCare, where vandals broke windows and set fire to the structure\u2019s medical office, adding graffiti with the words \u201cJane Was Here,\u201d a phrase used by a group called Jane\u2019s Revenge that has claimed responsibility for similar attacks nationwide.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis is the pro-abortion \u2018Kristallnacht.\u2019 Because of this act of violence, the needs of women facing unplanned pregnancy will go unmet and babies will die,\u201d CompassCare CEO Jim Harden\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.compasscarecommunity.com\/2022\/06\/compasscares-buffalo-office-firebombed-by-abortion-activists\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">wrote<\/a>\u00a0in a statement on the organization\u2019s website.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI wonder if Gov. Hochul will veto the Pregnancy Center Investigation Bill? I wonder if Attorney General Letitia James will investigate these cowardly criminals? CompassCare will rebuild because women deserve better.
