The President is looking forward to leaving tomorrow to head to the summit that clearly that we\u2019re \u2014 that we are hosting,\u201d Jean-Pierre <a href=\"https:\/\/www.whitehouse.gov\/briefing-room\/press-briefings\/2022\/06\/07\/press-briefing-by-press-secretary-karine-jean-pierre-and-matthew-mcconaughey\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">said,<\/a> before suddenly pivoting to Venezuela.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI can say this: The United States continues to recognize Juan Guaid\u00f3 as the Interim President of Venezuela. That said, while the interim government was not invited to participate in the main summit, they are welcome to participate in all three stakeholder forums and other events,\u201d she added.<\/p>\n<p>Bolsonaro had close ties to former President Donald Trump and attempted to cast doubt Tuesday on the 2020 U.S. presidential election.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe American people are the ones who talk about it [election fraud]. I will not discuss the sovereignty of another country. But Trump was doing really well,\u201d Bolsonaro said in an interview, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.reuters.com\/world\/americas\/brazils-bolsonaro-casts-doubt-bidens-2020-election-win-ahead-meeting-him-2022-06-07\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">according<\/a> to Reuters.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe don\u2019t want that to happen in Brazil,\u201d he reportedly added.<\/p>\n<p>He was one of the last presidents to accept Biden as having won the election, according to the outlet. <a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2022\/06\/07\/mexican-president-vows-to-influence-american-elections\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>(RELATED: <span class=\"il\">Mexican<\/span>\u00a0<span class=\"il\">President<\/span> Vows To Influence American Elections)<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Mexican President Andr\u00e9s Manuel L\u00f3pez Obrador <a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2022\/06\/06\/mexican-president-snubs-joe-biden-invite-summit-of-the-americas\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">announced Monday<\/a> he would not be attending the Summit of the Americas.
