Cannon, a father of eight, one of whom tragically died last year, responded to co-host Angela Yee asking about rumors that he had three babies due in 2022.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhen you say \u2018on the way,\u2019 what count are you at? Let\u2019s just put it this way: the stork is on the way,\u201d Cannon said while laughing. While he didn\u2019t reveal the exact number, the host did quip, \u201cIf you thought it was a lot of kids last year\u2026\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The \u201cWild \u2018n Out\u201d <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/topic\/celebrities\">alum<\/a> had twins with Abby De La Rosa last year. He also had a son with Alyssa Scott in June, but the baby tragically died in December after being diagnosed with a brain tumor.<\/p>\n<p>Cannon already announced in January that he was expecting his eighth child with model Bre Tiesi in 2022. No other confirmed pregnancies were announced yet.<\/p>\n<p>Besides those children, Cannon is the father of twins Moroccan and Monroe, who he shares with ex-wife Mariah Carey. He also has two children with model Brittany Bell, including son Golden born February 2017, and daughter Powerful Queen born December 2020.<\/p>\n<p>Cannon had announced publicly in 2021 that he was experimenting with celibacy after feeling \u201cout of control,\u201d The Daily Wire originally <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/nick-cannon-began-celibacy-journey-after-discovering-8th-child-was-on-the-way-said-i-was-out-of-control\">reported<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMy therapist was one of the [people] who said I should probably be celibate and the reason why is because I had shared that news about Bre being pregnant,\u201d he explained an episode of his podcast, according to People. \u201cThat was the reason why I started my celibacy journey back then. So for anyone who\u2019s thinking, \u2018Oh he wasn\u2019t celibate,\u2019 I was!\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI felt like I was out of control and honestly, celibacy did help me through the journey of getting one with myself and being able to deal with this,\u201d the singer continued. He admitted that he was \u201cno longer celibate\u201d and didn\u2019t make it to New Year\u2019s as he intended.<\/p>\n<p>Cannon also said he has no specific number of children in mind as the right number. \u201cThis is the thing\u2026you can\u2019t be like, \u2018No, I\u2019m done.\u2019 Like, what if God says, \u2018No, you not\u2019? I was always like, \u2018Yo, I want a big family,\u2019 too.
