Jackson<\/em> draft opinion, is downplaying a threat against Justice Brett Kavanaugh and his family. <\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonpost.com\/dc-md-va\/2022\/06\/08\/kavanaugh-threat-arrest-justice\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Washington Post reported <\/a>on Wednesday morning that a California man \u201ccarrying at least one weapon\u201d and \u201cburglary tools\u201d was arrested close to Kavanaugh\u2019s residence in Maryland around 1:50 a.m. The man was allegedly angry about the court\u2019s aim to get rid of <em>Roe v. Wade <\/em>and reportedly confessed to officers that\u00a0\u201che wanted to kill the Supreme Court justice.\u201d <\/p>\n<p>The threat immediately prompted responses from several people including Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell, who<a href=\"https:\/\/abcnews.go.com\/Politics\/man-arrested-supreme-court-justice-kavanaughs-home-allegedly\/story?id=85259333\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"> re-upped his push to pass legislation<\/a> designed to protect Supreme Court justices. <\/p>\n<p>Ruth Sent Us, however, chose to minimize the threat against Kavanaugh by downplaying the weapon wielded by the arrested man and diverting the conversation to \u201cdaily mass-murders in America.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are committed to non-violence. Fundamentalists will talk non-stop about how our peaceful protests inspired this, rather than the daily mass-murders in America. \ud83d\ude0f Oh, what was this \u2018weapon\u2019 the \u2018California man\u2019 had? They even organized \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/www.usatoday.com\/story\/news\/politics\/2022\/05\/13\/who-organizing-protests-supreme-court-justices-houses\/9737007002\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Walk-by Wednesday<\/a>\u201d where they led crowds into the justices\u2019 neighborhoods and by their homes in two states. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cOur 6-3 extremist Supreme Court routinely issues rulings that hurt women, racial minorities, LGBTQ+ and immigrant rights,\u201d read the group\u2019s\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ruthsent.us\/\">website<\/a>. \u201cWe must rise up to force accountability using a diversity of tactics.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/QN1eRc3R3B\">Website archives<\/a> show that when news of the arrest near Kavanaugh\u2019s home was reported, the website for Ruth Sent Us became mysteriously <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/JerylBier\/status\/1534554439486525442\">inaccessible<\/a>. <\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"968\" src=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/06\/Screen-Shot-2022-06-08-at-10.18.42-AM-1024x968-1.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-273729\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/06\/Screen-Shot-2022-06-08-at-10.18.42-AM-1024x968-1.png 1024w, https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/06\/Screen-Shot-2022-06-08-at-10.18.42-AM-300x283-1.png 300w, https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/06\/Screen-Shot-2022-06-08-at-10.18.42-AM-768x726-1.png 768w, https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/06\/Screen-Shot-2022-06-08-at-10.18.42-AM.png 1198w\"><\/figure>\n<p>Other activist groups also <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonpost.com\/dc-md-va\/2022\/05\/10\/youngkin-alito-protests-virginia\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">picketed<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonpost.com\/dc-md-va\/2022\/05\/10\/youngkin-alito-protests-virginia\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">yelled<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.usatoday.com\/story\/news\/politics\/2022\/05\/13\/who-organizing-protests-supreme-court-justices-houses\/9737007002\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">outside justices\u2019 homes<\/a> following the leak. Some leftists even called for the <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2022\/05\/03\/lets-burn-this-place-down-left-calls-for-violence-after-treasonous-scotus-abortion-leak\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Supreme Court to burn<\/a> and for justices to die. Meanwhile, prominent Democrats such as <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2022\/05\/09\/biden-silent-as-leftists-insurrection-at-supreme-makes-justices-flee\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">President Joe Biden<\/a> and Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer, who formerly threatened Kavanaugh and Justice Neil Gorsuch, refused to denounce them.
