Representatives for Casey\u2019s and the Nebraska Ethanol Board confirmed the claim is false.<\/p>\n<p><span><strong>Fact Check:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Gas prices have been rising across the U.S. in recent months, with prices currently averaging over $5 per gallon in 10 states, according to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.npr.org\/2022\/06\/06\/1103318977\/states-highest-gas-prices\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">NPR<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>A Facebook post appears to show a Caey\u2019s gas station sign advertising premium gas for $9.99 a gallon. \u201cPremium gas price today in Omaha,\u201d reads the post\u2019s caption. \u201cNo, that\u2019s not an error. And they will be changing their pumps out soon as gas will be over $10 a gallon. But man oh man am I glad we dont have snowflakes hurting from a Trump mean tweet.\u201d<\/p>\n<div dir=\"auto\">There is no record of Casey\u2019s in Nebraska selling premium gas for this price.
