For mine, we adjusted,\u201d who said while speaking on \u201cKaty Tur Reports.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>WATCH:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Hurtabo said his number one concern is rising gas prices.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cDo you feel like there\u2019s a sense there\u2019s someone to blame out there? If you had to blame anyone, could you?\u201d the reporter asked.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI don\u2019t like to get political but I would say, you know, it starts from the top, the president,\u201d Hurtabo said.<\/p>\n<p>Tur then asked the reporter to ask Hurtabo whether or not his vote would be influenced in the upcoming midterms given the gas prices.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cTwo-prong question. The fact that we are seeing gas prices impact people\u2019s pocketbooks so much right now, would that change how you\u2019re considering voting considering voting for the next election, congressional later this year or presidential a couple years down the road?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cDefinitely,\u201d Hurtabo said. \u201cOne administration had cheaper gas and this administration has more expensive gas.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAnd this is a bottom line strictly financial conclusion for you?\u201d the reporter asked.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s a housing market, it\u2019s everything you previously mentioned. Gas is a big part of it but, I mean, right now we\u2019re house hunting and that seems impossible.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Tur then asked the reporter to ask Hurtabo whether he would consider trading in his car for an electric vehicle. <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2022\/05\/30\/10-states-most-expensive-gas-prices-memorial-day-weekend\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">(RELATED: These 10 States Had The Most Expensive Gas Over Memorial Day Weekend)<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhen this lease is up, my wife and I thought about going electric. We just have to look at the budget and how expensive going electric is. The technology is very pricey,\u201d Hurtabo said.<\/p>\n<p>The average national gas price <a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2022\/06\/07\/gas-prices-climb-overnight-astronomical-record\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">rose overnight<\/a> to a new record, nearing closer to $5 per <a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2022\/05\/24\/biden-gas-prices-green-agenda\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">gallon<\/a>. The American Automobile Association <a href=\"https:\/\/gasprices.aaa.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">reported<\/a> the average price of <a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2022\/05\/30\/gas-prices-hit-another-record-high\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">gas<\/a> nationwide sat at $4.92 while the average price of diesel was $5.68.
