The American Rescue Plan got Americans vaccinated, helped schools stay open, and kept businesses humming\u2014not a single Republican in Congress voted for it,\u201d the accounts tweeted nearly on Monday afternoon shortly after the Democratic National Committee\u2019s main Twitter account thanked Biden for making the American job market \u201cthe strongest it\u2019s been since just after World War II,\u201d something Biden<a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonpost.com\/politics\/bidens-challenge-inflation-overshadows-robust-job-gains\/2022\/06\/03\/7603fc52-e374-11ec-ae64-6b23e5155b62_story.html\"> claimed<\/a> in a speech this weekend. <\/p>\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-large is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/06\/Screen-Shot-2022-06-06-at-3.21.13-PM-1024x457-1.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-273558\" width=\"517\" href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2022\/03\/08\/heres-the-full-list-of-every-lie-joe-biden-has-told-as-president-169-and-counting\/\">lie<\/a> with no mention of rampant inflation and record-high gas prices that far outpace any job or wage growth. Even though the text was copied directly from the Democratic National Committee Twitter, the DNC did not respond to The Federalist\u2019s request for comment. <\/p>\n<p>What is clear, however, is that despite Twitter\u2019s efforts to conceal its bot problem, users aren\u2019t convinced that inauthentic accounts make up fewer than 5 percent of the company\u2019s users, as the Big Tech platform likes to claim. <\/p>\n<p>Mega billionaire Elon Musk even threatened to derail his $44 billion offer unless Twitter shows definitive \u201cproof of <5%><\/p>\n<p>\u201cMy offer was based on Twitter\u2019s SEC filings being accurate. Yesterday, Twitter\u2019s CEO publicly refused to show proof of <5%>wrote\u00a0on May 17. <\/5%><\/p>\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-large is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/06\/Elon-1-1024x728-1.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-273576\" width=\"671\" height=\"477\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/06\/Elon-1-1024x728-1.png 1024w, https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/06\/Elon-1-300x213-1.png 300w, https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/06\/Elon-1-768x546-1.png 768w, https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/06\/Elon-1.png 1204w\"><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n<p>That was one day after Musk tweeted a <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/fdfS4wDK4g\">poop emoji<\/a>. at Twitter CEO Parag Agrawal, who <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/paraga\/status\/1526237589534953472?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw%7Ctwcamp%5Etweetembed%7Ctwterm%5E1526246899606601730%7Ctwgr%5E%7Ctwcon%5Es2_&#038;ref_url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.theverge.com%2F2022%2F5%2F16%2F23075363%2Fparag-agrawal-elon-musk-twitter-bot-report-acquisition\">claimed<\/a> that Twitter has a system designed to curb online bots. <\/p>\n<p>More recently, on Monday, Musk <a href=\"https:\/\/finance.yahoo.com\/news\/elon-musk-says-twitter-lack-150946719.html\">requested data<\/a> from Twitter and pledged to \u201cconduct his own analysis\u201d on the number of spam accounts on the platform since the Silicon Valley giant adheres to what the Tesla CEO has labeled \u201clax testing methodologies.\u201d Musk claimed that Twitter\u2019s stalling on bots is a \u201cclear material breach of Twitter\u2019s obligations under the merger agreement\u201d and gives him the authority to back out of the deal.<\/p>\n<p>In what appears to be a move inspired by Musk\u2019s estimation that Twitter is made up of 20 percent bot accounts, Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton <a href=\"https:\/\/www.texasattorneygeneral.gov\/sites\/default\/files\/images\/executive-management\/Updated%20Twitter%20CID%20Users%20060622_2.pdf\">announced he will be investigating<\/a> the Big Tech company for \u201cpotentially false reporting over its fake bot accounts in violation of the Texas Deceptive Trade Practices Act.\u201d <\/p>\n<p>Paxton said non-human accounts not only \u201cpush deceptive and annoying activity\u201d but \u201cmay also inflate the value of the company and the costs of doing business with it, thus directly harming Texas consumers and businesses.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cTwitter has received intense scrutiny in recent weeks over claiming in its financial regulatory filings that fewer than 5% of all users are bots, when they may in fact comprise as much as 20% or more,\u201d a press release from Paxton\u2019s office stated. \u201cThe difference could dramatically affect the cost to Texas consumers and businesses who transact with Twitter.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Paxton gave Twitter until June 27 to hand over data and evidence of Twitter\u2019s user and advertising practices. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cTexans rely on Twitter\u2019s public statements that nearly all its users are real people.
