Whether that slack\u2019s going to come because the Fed\u2019s going to have to push rates of interest very high or whether that will slack\u2019s going to come due to internal forces in the economy, pumpiing eroding people\u2019s incomes, and so on. That\u2019s less clear in my experience. But I don\u2019t think there is a path to a low-inflation economy without a material amount of economic slack. It could occur. But it\u2019s not the superior probability. What we saw nowadays was a lot of strength, which suggests more need for rate of interest hikes.
