Descano admitted that even though his job is to hold people accountable to the law, when it comes to violating abortion laws, he will turn a blind eye.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Descano notoriously touts left-wing ideology both on social media and in his job as a prosecutor. And, unironically, he received <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonpost.com\/local\/legal-issues\/pac-funded-by-george-soros-pumps-nearly-1-million-into-local-races-for-prosecutor\/2019\/06\/04\/c2df1b08-86f0-11e9-a491-25df61c78dc4_story.html\">more<\/a> than <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/politics\/soros-donates-200k-virginia-prosecutor-race\">$600,000<\/a> from liberal billionaire George Soros.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>After looking at Descano\u2019s recent history, his ties to Soros make more and more sense.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Though Descano is a product of <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/SteveDescano\/status\/1530288440209813505?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">Catholic<\/a> schools and used to attend a\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/SteveDescano\/status\/1455598002832302081\">Methodist precinct<\/a>,\u00a0it appears that his Christian values have drifted, considering his abortion advocacy. In 2021, Descano signed a petition to keep <em>Roe<\/em> instated and help block the Texas \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/capitol.texas.gov\/tlodocs\/86R\/billtext\/pdf\/HB01500I.pdf\">heartbeat bill<\/a>,\u201d the same bill that reportedly saves an estimated\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/texasrighttolife.com\/100-babies-saved-per-day-by-texas-heartbeat-act-new-data-confirms\/\">100<\/a> babies a day.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Though Descano doesn\u2019t care about babies in the womb, he does care about protecting kids in schools &#8211; but touts all the wrong ways of making that happen. He&#8217;s an advocate for extreme gun control, once called those who \u201ccower\u201d to the National Rifle Association \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/SteveDescano\/status\/1529579942861848577\">dopes<\/a>,&#8221; and opposes Virginia Republican Governor Glenn Youngkin\u2019s plans for securing civilian safety.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe need to get rid of assault rifles\u2026The problem is the guns,\u201d Descano <a href=\"https:\/\/wjla.com\/news\/local\/gov-glenn-youngkin-gun-safety-reforms-buta-biberaj-loudoun-county-fairfax-county-commonwealths-attorney-steve-descano-flags-half-staff-virginia-beach-shooting\">claimed<\/a>\u00a0earlier this week.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Descano also supports the voluntary\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/SteveDescano\/status\/1502320353346994176\">castration<\/a> of minors, is \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/SteveDescano\/status\/1496970759490744324\">sickened<\/a>\u201d by attorney generals who rightfully deem gender-affirming procedures to be \u201cchild abuse,&#8221; and also gave a \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/us\/soros-backed-prosecutors-office-failed-convicted-sex-predators-sentencing-judge\">leinent<\/a>\u201d punishment to convicted sexual assaulter and child predator.<\/p>\n<p>To make things worse, Descano does not favor the police nor anyone who actually tries to enforce laws. In a 2021 recording, Descano <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=qKTzCo8Ucyc\">bragged<\/a> about having to \u201cspike officers to the ground.\u201d He placed Fairfax Sheriff&#8217;s officials on their \u201cBrady list\u201d after a public spat at a courthouse security checkpoint, according to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=qKTzCo8Ucyc\">Fox 5<\/a>. It\u2019s ironic that someone who is tasked with implementing the law seems to hate the people that enforce it.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Related:\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.mrctv.org\/blog\/two-years-after-defundthepolice-seattle-reaping-what-it-sowed\">Two Years After #DefundThePolice, Seattle Is Reaping What It Sowed<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>For some rapid-fire facts, Descano thinks Donald Trump and Ted Cruz are \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/SteveDescano\/status\/1501965844305395717\">rich rags<\/a>,\u201d he is a big <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/SteveDescano\/status\/1497250478090068004\">fan<\/a> of Kentaji Brown Jackson (who doesn\u2019t know what a woman is), and even decided to \u201cstop charging adults with simple possession of marijuana\u201d when at the time it was illegal in Virginia.<\/p>\n<p>In sum, Descano is the Commonwealth Attorney whose job is to enforce the laws that the legislature created.
