According to reports, the agency sent 60 generators to the Lone Star State, but state officials did not provide instructions on how they should be delivered.<\/p>\n<p>Additionally, 10,000 gallons of diesel have been sent to the state, awaiting approval from local officials before they can be distributed. Experts said part of the issue has been caused by delays in transportation due to the severe weather.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">NEW: The 60 generators FEMA sent to Texas are, as of this morning, sitting in a staging area in Ft. On Friday, a spokesperson for Committee Chairman Sen. Joe Manchin said the lawmaker was following the situation in Texas closely.<\/p>\n<p>Republican Sen. Roger Marshall (R-Kan.) voiced support for the hearing.
