Leftist policies have allowed for increased homelessness in the city, a place where criminals feel emboldened following reduced sentencing and high taxes along with an increased cost of living.<\/p>\n<p>It can\u2019t go unmentioned that many of these decisions happened during the pandemic, when L.A. was one of the last cities to lift restrictions after locking down the city and schools for more than a year.<\/p>\n<p>Here are some actors, actresses, comedians, podcasters and even a rapper who opted to move to places like Texas, Utah, Florida, Kentucky\u2014and even some who are just leaving the United States all together for places like Australia to improve the quality of life for themselves and their family.<\/p>\n<p>Ozzy &#038; Sharon Osbourne<\/p>\n<p>Legendary British rocker Ozzy Osbourne and his wife Sharon Osbourne have called L.A. home for more than 20 years. It\u2019s primarily where they raised their three children together. However, the couple recently announced they will be moving back to the United Kingdom. He also shares three children with his ex-wife Thelma Riley.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are leaving L.A. We are a bit sad,\u201d the 73-year-old rockstar told <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mirror.co.uk\/3am\/celebrity-news\/ozzy-osbourne-sharon-osbourne-quitting-26390151\">UK Mirror<\/a>. \u201cBut the tax is getting too much. I am sad because I really, really like staying and living there.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIf they do the taxes better then I may come back,\u201d he added. \u201cI do not know.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI am taking my recording studio with me,\u201d the Black Sabbath hitmaker continued. \u201cI am going to build a barn there and make my own studio at Welders. I will still be making music and my band will come over.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>As noted in the piece, the federal tax rate is 28% and for those that live in the Golden State they have to pay an additional 13% state tax on top.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Matthew McConaughey<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u201cInterstellar\u201d star <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/matthew-mcconaughey-far-left-hollywood-is-arrogant-towards-that-other-50\">Matthew McConaughey<\/a> and his wife Camila Alves <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/matthew-mcconaugheys-wife-opens-up-on-their-decision-to-leave-malibu-for-a-life-that-embodies-their-belief-system-in-texas\">made headlines<\/a> recently after they left their Malibu home in Southern California for Texas, and say it has everything to do with being a place that \u201cembodies\u201d their \u201cbelief system\u201d and where they want to raise their three kids.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s been great,\u201d the Brazilian model and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/entertainment\/camila-alves-mcconaughey-raising-family-texas\">designer Alves shared<\/a>.\u00a0 \u201cIt really embodies our belief system, especially the ones I grew up with, like going to church every Sunday, saying \u2018yes ma\u2019am\u2019 or \u2018no, sir.&#8217;\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI grew up saying those things coming from a family of farmers,\u201d she added. \u201cFor me, being from Brazil and then coming to Texas, I discovered a lot of similarities in terms of what families practice here, especially going to church on Sundays, and being very into the outdoors.
