In addition, President Biden\u2019s inability to fix the\u00a0shortage of truckers continues to wreak havoc on shipments across the supply chain.<\/p>\n<p>Cinemas must also find ways to deal with shortages of other concession items, popcorn bags, beverage cups, and nacho trays.<\/p>\n<p>Some chains are resorting to metal or plastic containers, which are more expensive, Goldenlink North America sales director Neely Schiefelbein told the <em>Journal<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>The end result will likely be higher prices for American consumers, who are already being hit on all sides by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/economy\/2022\/05\/31\/bidenflation-just-13-of-americans-say-the-economy-is-good-and-1-say-it-is-excellent\/\">runaway inflation<\/a> under the Biden administration.<\/p>\n<p>The exhibition industry is counting on this summer\u2019s movie season to finally lure back consumers in large numbers after two years of the coronavirus pandemic.<\/p>\n<p><em>Top Gun: Maverick<\/em> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/entertainment\/2022\/05\/28\/nolte-masculine-pro-american-top-gun-maverick-blasts-146m-opening-towers-woke-flops\/\">broke box-office records<\/a> over Memorial Day weekend, while the smaller-scale success of the <em>Downton Abbey<\/em> sequel has shown that older audiences are now willing to return to cinemas.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Follow David <\/em><em>Ng on Twitter\u00a0<a class=\"x5l\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/HeyItsDavidNg\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener external\">@HeyItsDavidNg<\/a>.
