On Thursday, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thegatewaypundit.com\/2021\/02\/high-school-football-coach-terminated-questioning-blm-curriculum\/\">reports<\/a> said David Flynn accused the Dedham Public School District of violating his freedom of speech when they refused to re-hire him over \u201csignificant philosophical differences.\u201d<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">David Flynn was Dedham High School\u2019s football coach. The district fired him last month. The federal lawsuit lists Dedham\u2019s superintedent of schools, high school principal &amp; athletic director as defendants. <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/TQLrWAskSH\">https:\/\/t.co\/TQLrWAskSH<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Mike Saccone (@mikesacconetv) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/mikesacconetv\/status\/1361842330211414021?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">February 17, 2021<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Flynn said he raised concerns about one of his daughter\u2019s assignments, in which black students were told to fear white people, specifically police. His players have since expressed their disagreement with the decision.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cCoach Flynn\u2019s an awesome guy and I think\u2026we\u2019re all devastated that they fired him,\u201d former Dedham football player and graduate Kevin O\u2019Leary said. \u201cCoach Flynn and Dedham football, it\u2019s like broccoli and cheese sauce.
