This one now threatens the entire town. It stems from Title IX case. <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/Z1jl7gWZ2r\">pic.twitter.com\/Z1jl7gWZ2r<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Barrett Tryon Local 5 (@btreports) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/btreports\/status\/1532026609930276866?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">June 1, 2022<\/a><\/p>\n<p>The list of threatened locations included all public and private schools, roads, utility stations, city buildings, local police, local stores, and the city\u2019s wastewater treatment plant.<\/p>\n<p>The city\u2019s Emergency Management Team is reportedly investigating the matter in cooperation with local, state, and federal authorities. No other information was reported.<\/p>\n<p>The city\u2019s fifth bomb threat on Tuesday led to a search of targeted schools, Kiel City Hall, and Kiel Public Library. All buildings were evacuated. No explosive devices were found.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAmid recent threats to Kiel Middle School, the school district sent a note on Monday to parents saying that high school graduation has been postponed until administrators can come up with an alternative plan,\u201d WLUK-TV <a href=\"https:\/\/fox11online.com\/news\/local\/kiel-buildings-evacuated-following-fifth-bomb-threat-wisconsin-pronoun-investigation-police-gender-title-ix-investigation-middle-school-high-city-hall-public-library-zielanis-elementary\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">reported<\/a>. \u201cThey also added that summer school and end-of-the-year field trips are canceled.\u201d<\/p>\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Kiel received a fifth bomb threat this morning that led to the evacuation of schools, city hall and the public library. Several residents held their own parade despite the cancellation, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cbs58.com\/news\/city-of-kiel-receives-5th-bomb-threat-directed-at-schools-government-buildings-no-devices-found\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">according to<\/a> local CBS 58.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">The parents of the three eighth-graders were notified that their sons were being charged by school district officials with sexual harassment in April.\u00a0The school district claimed that the boys were not referring to the student\u2019s preferred pronouns of \u201cthey\u201d and \u201cthem.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The Wisconsin Institute for Law and Liberty (WILL) has filed a lawsuit on behalf of the families of the three students under investigation, requesting that the complaint be dropped.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-2\">\u201cWe live in a society where we resolve our differences by public debate and the rule of law. We do not resolve them by violence or threats of violence. The difference between our clients and the Kiel Area School District will be resolved through legal means,\u201d WILL deputy counsel Luke Berg <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wbay.com\/2022\/05\/28\/title-ix-lawyer-kiel-schools-had-no-choice-investigation\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">stated<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-2\">\u201cAs such, we unequivocally condemn whoever has sent threats to the Kiel Area School District. We do not know who made these threats, but they certainly do not speak for us or what we believe in.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-2\">\u201cWe will not stand down because of them and, while we disagree with the Kiel Area School District, we wouldn\u2019t expect it to be intimidated by threats either. For either of us to do so would be to sacrifice the rule of law to the rule of intimidation. We don\u2019t need threats of violence to resolve our differences.
