The transgender surgeon did not respond to multiple requests for comment for this story, but the vaginoplasty procedure that Bowers references is a surgeon\u2019s attempt to create a vagina on a biological man by using skin from the patient\u2019s penis.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhat\u2019s the youngest patient that you\u2019ve operated on,\u201d Walsh asked Bowers in the interview, featured in The Daily Wire\u2019s documentary \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/videos\/what-is-a-woman-official-trailer\">What Is A Woman? One Man\u2019s Journey To Answer The Question Of A Generation<\/a>.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe youngest patient I\u2019ve done vaginoplasty on is age 16,\u201d Bowers responded.<\/p>\n<p>Walsh worried that minors would not \u201cunderstand enough about themselves\u201d or be \u201cneurologically developed enough yet to make permanent life-altering decisions.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Bowers rejected this idea, saying, \u201cAbsolutely not.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>In a vaginoplasty, the surgeon <a href=\"https:\/\/healthcare.utah.edu\/transgender-health\/gender-affirmation-surgery\/vaginoplasty.php\">uses skin from the penis and scrotum<\/a> to attempt to create an inner and outer labia of the vagina, makes a new opening for the urethra so the patient can urinate, and uses tissue from the patient\u2019s foreskin to make an opening of the faux vagina.<\/p>\n<p>According to the <a href=\"https:\/\/marcibowers.com\/dr-bowers\/\">surgeon\u2019s website<\/a>, Bowers is a biological male who now identifies as a woman and has performed more than 2,250 male-to-female vaginoplasties and 3,900 \u201cgender affirming surgeries overall.\u201d It describes Bowers as a \u201cpioneer in the field of Gender Affirmation Surgery,\u201d noting that the doctor studied under the \u201cFather of Transgender Surgery,\u201d Dr. Stanley Biber, who died in 2006.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cNothing they said made any sense,\u201d Walsh said of\u00a0his conversations with those interviewed for his documentary. \u201cTheir arguments collapsed, not with hammer blows or a hard push, but with soft questions, because the core of gender ideology is hollow.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Transgender advocacy and discussions are increasingly raising concerns as activists call for unquestioning affirmations of those who identify as another sex or gender.<\/p>\n<p>The Biden administration <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/white-house-early-trans-surgeries-hormones-are-crucial-for-kids-teens-who-identify-as-trans\">went so far as to say<\/a> in messaging released in late March that \u201cearly gender-affirming care,\u201d hormone treatment, and affirmations are \u201ccrucial\u201d for the health of kids and teens who identify as transgender and nonbinary.<\/p>\n<p>Gender-affirming care is\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2021\/06\/14\/walt-heyer-lgbtq-transgender\/\">a phrase<\/a>\u00a0used by transgender activists and media to mask the more grisly sounding transgender top and bottom surgeries, including removing a biological women\u2019s breasts, removing a biological man\u2019s genitals, sculpting a fake penis on a biological woman, facial feminization or facial masculinization, and more.<\/p>\n<p>Social affirmation, puberty blockers, and hormones also fall under the \u201cgender-affirming care\u201d umbrella.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cFor transgender and nonbinary children and adolescents, early gender-affirming care is crucial to overall health and well-being as it allows the child or adolescent to focus on social transitions and can increase their confidence while navigating the healthcare system,\u201d the White House messaging said.<\/p>\n<p>Transgender surgeries, hormones, and affirmations are important, the White House claimed, because these procedures have been \u201cshown to increase positive outcomes for transgender and nonbinary children and adolescents\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Commentators, lawmakers, people\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailysignal.com\/2022\/01\/24\/transsexual-slams-planned-parenthood-aclu-womens-sports\/\">who identify as transgender<\/a>, and people who\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/detransitioners-flood-social-media-with-testimony-photos-the-darkest-time-in-my-life\">formerly attempted transitions<\/a>\u00a0have expressed grave concerns about encouraging children or young people to explore transitions of any kind.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A biologically male doctor who identifies as transgender woman and has performed thousands of sex change procedures openly admitted to performing a surgery sculpting a vagina on a 16-year-old.
