The same media outlets that peddled the Clinton campaign\u2019s Russia lies, however, deliberately ignored Sussmann\u2019s role.<\/p>\n<p>ABC News, NBC News, CBS News, and MSNBC stayed completely silent on the matter despite their history of <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2021\/10\/19\/abc-news-documentary-fails-to-rehab-debunked-steele-dossier-at-center-of-russian-collusion-hoax\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">obsessing over the<\/a> debunked Steele dossier. <\/p>\n<p>CNN briefly mentioned the trial but spent less than 10 minutes of coverage on it over the course of five days. As <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/media\/sussmann-trial-abc-nbc-cbs-msnbc-trump-russia\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Fox News noted<\/a>, \u201cnone of CNN\u2019s coverage has come during primetime\u201d when CNN sees a significant spike in viewership. <\/p>\n<p>Even Tesla CEO and Twitter takeover hopeful Elon Musk noticed the media\u2019s absence as <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2022\/05\/31\/jury-acquits-clinton-campaign-attorney-but-prosecutors-prove-corporate-media-guilty\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">key information<\/a> about the Clinton campaign\u2019s role in targeting Donald Trump\u2019s presidential run became even more clear than before. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhy is <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/abcnews\">@abcnews<\/a> ignoring this story?\u201d he <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/elonmusk\/status\/1527927884324683777?s=20&#038;t=D6EWLzuKjqw30p9puOlV-Q\">twe<\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/elonmusk\/status\/1527927884324683777?s=20&#038;t=D6EWLzuKjqw30p9puOlV-Q\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">e<\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/elonmusk\/status\/1527927884324683777?s=20&#038;t=D6EWLzuKjqw30p9puOlV-Q\">ted.<\/a><\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"671\" src=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/06\/Screen-Shot-2022-06-01-at-7.07.47-AM-1024x671-1.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-273319\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/06\/Screen-Shot-2022-06-01-at-7.07.47-AM-1024x671-1.png 1024w, https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/06\/Screen-Shot-2022-06-01-at-7.07.47-AM-300x197.png 300w, https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/06\/Screen-Shot-2022-06-01-at-7.07.47-AM-768x503-1.png 768w, https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/06\/Screen-Shot-2022-06-01-at-7.07.47-AM.png 1196w\" \/><\/figure>\n<p>Now that a D.C.-based jury and judge with <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/seanmdav\/status\/1531691771083759616?s=20&#038;t=AZfRCsXvSUKyr0A56yUz7w\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">connections to Sussmann and the Clintons<\/a> have let the Democrat off the hook, the same corporate media mouthpieces who were predictably quiet when the trial began have spoken up about why they think the decision to acquit was the right one. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cSussmann not guilty,\u201d Harry Litman, a legal affairs columnist for the Los Angeles Times and former Department of Justice official, <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/harrylitman\/status\/1531668090269798400?s=20&#038;t=HX57I-s-Yq4md2Y9N4rkiQ\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">tweeted<\/a>. \u201cExtremely fast verdict. more or less total humiliation for Durham.
