(@ElectionWiz) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/ElectionWiz\/status\/1531688364952408064?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">May 31, 2022<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<\/figure>\n<\/section>\n<section data-v-f313b7e6=\"\">\n<p>On Tuesday, a federal jury in Washington DC acquitted Sussmann, finding him not guilty of lying to the FBI in regards to him telling then-FBI general Counsel James Baker that he was not bringing forth the Russia collusion allegations on behalf of the Clinton Campaign and an internet executive when the pair met in 2016.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<section data-v-f313b7e6=\"\">\n<p>Sussmann\u2019s attorneys highlighted during the trial the mistakes that the FBI made while investigating the case, including not interviewing Sussmann or other critical witnesses.
