It was after his 16-year-old son was confirmed into the Catholic church as he\u2019s decided to live the rest of his life as a Catholic after being baptized into the religion when he was younger.<\/p>\n<p>Confirmation is described by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.catholic.com\/encyclopedia\/confirmation\">Catholic.com<\/a> as \u201ca sacrament in which the Holy Ghost is given to those already baptized in order to make them strong and perfect Christians and soldiers of Jesus Christ.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>WATCH:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u201cGood morning from Europe,\u201d Wahlberg explained. \u201cI just got down on my hands and my knees to express my gratitude on a beautiful day. Congratulations to my son Michael for making his confirmation.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAll the young people out there who are confirmed and taking their relationship with the Lord into their adulthood, what a commitment you guys have made,\u201d he added. \u201cCongratulations to all of you.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The \u201cFather Stu\u201d <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/this-was-my-calling-mark-wahlberg-explains-why-father-stu-was-a-turning-point-for-him\">star<\/a>, who is from Boston, closed out his post by also giving thanks after learning that the Celtics had won the Eastern Conference and were headed to the NBA Finals, sharing that \u201clots of prayers answered\u201d\u2026God Bless you all.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>He also told his followers that he had been \u201clistening to a beautiful prayer\u201d on the <a href=\"https:\/\/hallow.com\">Hallow app<\/a>, which the company describes as a \u201cCatholic Prayer &#038; Meditation App.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>In April, Wahlberg, a proud Catholic, encouraged his 18 million followers to \u201cstay prayed up\u201d and say the Rosary with him, as he mentioned the app, as previously <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/stay-prayed-up-mark-wahlberg-urges-his-18-million-followers-to-say-the-rosary-with-him\">reported<\/a> by The Daily Wire.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019ve been getting a lot of messages from people who have been praying every day and finding peace,\u201d Wahlberg posted on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/CcvOewOpoBt\/\">social media<\/a>. \u201cAnd especially sending wonderful messages about doing the Rosary with me on the Hallow app.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cLet\u2019s do the Rosary together and stay prayed up,\u201d he added. \u201cYou got to stay prayed up.
