Max Rose called out his own party in a Tuesday statement, saying, despite redistricting in the state, he will still be running, and called on Democrats to focus on other districts that President Joe Biden did not win by double digits.<\/p>\n<p>Rose, who is running to take back his old seat in New York\u2019s 11th District, released a <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/MaxRose4NY\/status\/1531632909978853376?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">statement<\/a> saying he will remain in the race, and that if Democrats cannot win districts like his, then their message will never move forward. He also said the Democratic Party does not deserve to win if they cannot win districts like his.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cNew York\u2019s entire redistricting process has been a travesty that affirmed every voters\u2019 worst beliefs about our political system. Some have suggested that it\u2019d be easier for me to run in a more Democratic district or to suspend my campaign,\u201d Rose said in the release. <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2022\/05\/30\/10-states-most-expensive-gas-prices-memorial-day-weekend\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">(RELATED: These 10 States Had The Most Expensive Gas Over Memorial Day Weekend)<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhat kind of message does it send when Democrats run away to different districts because they think having to earn the votes of Republicans and Independents means their political career is over? If we can only win in seats where Joe Biden won by more than ten points then we will never build the coalition we need to end gun violence, protect a woman\u2019s right to choose, and make this country affordable,\u201d Rose continued. \u201cAnd frankly, the Democratic Party doesn\u2019t deserve to win if it\u2019s willing to give up on earning the trust of every American.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSo let me make this very clear: we are not giving up and we intend to win. Rose\u2019s district covers the entire Staten Island and other conservative areas in Brooklyn, the New York Post <a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2022\/05\/28\/max-rose-facing-long-odds-in-redrawn-11th-district\/\">reported<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt looks like Max Rose is no longer running for Congress,\u201d the NRCC said in the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nrcc.org\/2022\/05\/27\/did-max-rose-drop-out\/\">press release<\/a>. \u201cThere\u2019s no confirmation either way, but based on Rose\u2019s silence about the new congressional maps and whether he\u2019ll remain in the race for NY-11, it wouldn\u2019t be out of line to assume he\u2019s no longer running.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Rose was originally elected to Congress in 2018 before losing his race for <a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2020\/11\/12\/nicole-malliotakis-unseats-democrat-max-rose\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">reelection<\/a> to Republican Rep.
