There are likewise no credible <a href=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/search?q=Marsha+Blackburn+birth+control+married+couples+only&#038;oq=Marsha+Blackburn+birth+control+married+couples+only&#038;aqs=chrome..69i57.17238j1j7&#038;sourceid=chrome&#038;ie=UTF-8\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">news reports<\/a> suggesting the Tennessee senator had made such a recommendation.<\/p>\n<p>The claim appears to stem from comments the senator made about the Supreme Court\u2019s 1965 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.oyez.org\/cases\/1964\/496\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Griswold vs. Connecticut<\/a> decision that established the right for people to use birth control based on \u201cmarital privacy\u201d considerations.
